Dr. Tekwani is easy to speak with about lens options. He is kind and soft spoken. You never feel hurried. I opted for the Synergy multi- focal lens and my vision is great near and far. No more glasses for me. I would highly recommend Dr. Tekwani to all my friends and family.

Had an appointment at the St Charles office for June, they called and changed it to July… when I got there they said he moved down the street. When I get to that location still in time for my appointment the door was locked. I called them to find out they scheduled me out in South County!?!?! Now I have to wait till end August, meaning if I need surgery can’t get it done til Next Summer, being a snowbird! This office has an unprofessional communication

I tried to schedule a consultation for cataract surgery for my mother. We never got as far as actually seeing the doctor. The first referral sent by the GP was not satisfactory--missing a "J Code." After a month of phone calls between myself and the managing nurse at my mom's assisted living facility, she was told that the initial referral was only missing a diagnosis. New referral faxed. I received a copy, along with sent receipt. Tekwani's staff claiming they never received it, but even with ICD code, it's not acceptable--without prior insurance authorization. Involved care facility, GP/his nurses, and insurance company. No one could figure out what they wanted. Also told different procedures each time--we can bring code, insurance company has to approve it first, it must be sent ahead, and so on. Finally cancelled appointment and will ask our optometrist for a new recommendation.

Hes a very caring kind Dr.Answers any questions never in a hurry his staff is same way.my eye sight now is amazing after cataracts taken off Have had other eye drs yet none ever told me I had them? Am thankful and very happy to of found him.His staff is same very caring

My consultation with Dr. Tekwani was thorough and comprehensive. He answered my questions and reassured me about my recovery time based on my health and history. Surgery was quick and I was seeing well the next day.

Initially I was very pleased with the outcome of cataract surgery by Dr. Tekwani. Then I found out my vision isn’t as good as expected. Better vision will require corrective lenses. I paid a great deal of money to get the best lenses, and am only 20/25. Furthermore, I am experiencing bad halos. Which, if they don’t clear up in 3 months, will require another procedure. Thumb down.

I definately recommend Dr. Tekwani! I had cataract surgery and it was a very good experience. The first day I felt a little like something in my eye but never any pain. He has a great bedside manner taking the time to answer all of my questions so I felt comfortable and a very efficient and friendly staff. Couldn't recommend enough!!

Dr. Tekwani was referred to me by my eye dr. when i was eligible for cataract surgery. Staff very knowledgeable. Dr. Tekwani took his time explaining what he could do. My surgery is scheduled for April!
