Hi my name is Marvella my experience was hard at first but Heather made me feel very comfortable she did an amazing job at communicating with me a heart filling smile the Dentist Findlay and Heather talked me through the entire procedure even as I got upset and in distress they did their best to calm me down that to the entire team for an awesome experience

First of all, I would like to thank Dr. Arroyo and his nurse for their compassion, professionalism and kindness while treating my daughter for her wisdom teeth removal. It went smoothly. However, the check-in process was a nightmare. We arrived 20 minutes early and was told that we had to pay $1400 for sedation that was already approved by her insurance (UHC Community Plan). Then the office staff, Amy, said that she had contacted me on the phone and went through the bill which did not happen. If she did, I would have directed her to UHC for the approval letter. She then proceeded to say that if she did not have the hard copy of the approval paperwork, we would have to reschedule. Instead of offering to call the insurance company and acquire the approval paperwork, she yelled at me and my daughter saying that she could not proceed without paperwork and that her day was ruined. I called the insurance, and they faxed the approval to the office within 5 minutes. I have never felt so humiliated and embarrassed as a human being. She went on to speak badly of the insurance that my daughter had. I am going to be contacting the consumer protection bureau of Missouri and then reach out the County representative to ensure that consumers are not treated badly regardless of the insurance that they have.

Recent procedure by Dr Shaikh was performed quickly, painlessly and professionally. Marissa, the surgical assistant, answered any of my questions and was clear in her instructions I was to follow at home. Office staff was friendly and efficient. They contacted insurance company and informed me ahead of time of any responsibilities for which I would be charged. Dr Shaikh was very personable and made me feel confident in my choice to have him perform the needed procedure. Highly recommend.

The doctor and staff are very professional and friendly, and I would recommend them again. Heather was very friendly and helped my daughter with everything she needed.
