Good and caring.
He answer all my questions that I needed and understand my health problems. I have been going to see him for years.
Dr. Radel has been my families Physician since I was in my early teens. I'm now turning 40. Dr. Radel is truly a wonderful doctor. He's caring , prompt and non judgmental. I can only hope that when my three daughters reach the age of needing an adult physician Dr. Radel will still be practicing.
If you are uninsured, co-pay is $100, $50 upfront at time of appointment and $50 billed. You call to get prescriptions refilled and talk to a real person, although I did prefer leaving a message as I did not have to call during business hours. Their staff who answer the phone are always very patient and courteous. Now they can fax even narcotic prescriptions to the pharmacy without having to pick them up in person (because making someone physically carry the prescription down the road to Costco's pharmacy instead of faxing it prevents prescription pill abuse, according to the FDA. 🙄)Would I recommend Dr. Radel? It depends on what you're looking for. I take the same medication every day, the same mg, I just want the same refill every month. I'm a healthy 20-something. Wait time is short and he's usually to the point. Have to see him every 6 to 12 months. But if I was actually sick with something serious, I would recommend Crider in Wentzville. It seems as though he's in a hurry and doesn't have time to diagnose you properly. I was embarrassed about talking to him about depression but he was very professional about it and didn't want to put me on a test run on all these expensive antidepressants like psychiatrists love to do.
Office staff is absolutely rude. They deny speaking to you when they are the only one in the office with that name..try to make an appointment and told the Dr will have to review to see if wants to consult and then doesn't call back..repeating the same information and its name and address .what is the problem with the staff?
Office staff is GREAT! I never had any issues in the many years I've been a member! The Office Staff has always been nice to me, and I've always been nice to them!? Interesting how that works sometimes. Dr. Radel has always been a caring and informing physician as well!
Office staff sucks! Obnoxious ,rude, uncaring.
He diagnosed my husband with sciatica & referred him to pain doc & massage therapist. I asked if he was sure that my husband didn't have cancer. This went on for 6 months and my husband got worse finally made Dr. Radel refer my husband to a neurosurgeon. The neurosurgeon looked at my husband and said it wasn't even his back that was the problem. He did a MRI and my husband had pancreatic cancer that had attacked his bones. The day of the diagnosis, my husband sneezed & his pelvis broke in 1/2
Went in for an eye infection, he didn't even look in my eyes and said it was pink eye. Miss diagnosis led to permanent vision loss. Will never return to this doctor nor recommend him to anyone.
Dr.Radel is a good physician, always courteous and helpful. However, making appointments and trying to contact the nurse is difficult at best.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
