Dr. Callahan was extremely patient, kind, knowledgeable, and honest. He did an excellent job with my 9 year old. I had several concerns and questions throughout the year and Dr.Callahan always took time out of his busy day to address those concerns and questions. He was more than helpful. We are forever grateful for Dr.Callahan!

Today we met Dr. Callahan for our 8 year old daughter, and we had a very good first impression of him! He seems very knowledgeable, and really took time at our visit to ask questions and get to know our daughters symptoms, very thorough which was appreciated. We didn’t feel rushed which seems rare these days, and we felt hope at the end of our visit that he can help treat her chronic migraines. And that means a lot to us! We recommend him!

The doctor dismissed my concerns (without basis) and missed major medical issues for my child. It has been a couple of years now, and other neurologists have diagnosed major concerns- a paragraph of diagnosis. We are receiving 12 hrs a week of therapy for this kid right now... and he told me everything was normal and maybe we could have ADHD. He also told me that "therapists made a bigger issue out of everything" than doctors do and told me we would never need a neurologist again. We had to be in patient neurology 2 months later. Very disappointing.

My child sees a lot of doctors, specialists, therapists etc. Dr. David Callahan is the most kind, most knowledgeable, professional doctor my daughter has. He takes time to explain things and answers all questions thourally. When taking your child to Dr. Callahans office you will find it obvious that this doctor has many years of experience and is simply the best in his field. I feel most comfortable and confident with my child in his care. I fully trust him with my child. Thank you Dr. David Callahan.

Had the absolute pleasure of meeting Dr Callahan today. He was kind, thorough, patient and gentle with my 11 year old daughter. We were seen immediately and he took his time to examine and explain everything she was seen for. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatric neurologist. The receptionist we dealt with could not have been an more pleasant either. I am 100% happy with our experience. Thank you Dr Callahan and staff!

Dr. Callahan is very good with children. He listens well to parental concerns and addresses the child's needs in a timely manner. I would recommend him to any parent who needs a child neurologist.

Dr Callahan has a condescending attitude. In my experience this Dr does NOT like to be questioned when a new medication is introduced. In other words if you (as a parent) have strong concerns about a new prescription be prepared for Dr Callahan to take a very rude & unprofessional attitude. Parents should be able to state any concerns with a medicine and expect those questions/ concerns to addressed patiently. Be forewarned he does not do this & can be downright rude! Will be moving on!
