List of Patrick Amechi Oruwari's Reviews
Dr. O has to be one of the kindest men in this field. The wait time you all are complaining about is because he is working. He's not off having fun or even taking a nap. His days are long. He's tired and y'all complaining are pretty ungrateful.
Terrible 3 hour wait time then rushes through patients so he can catch up. Would not recommend what's so ever.
We do not know what we would do without Dr. Oruwari. He has been my son's psychiatrist for several years. He is the most responsive, knowledgeable, personable, and down-to-earth physician I have ever met. He often takes more than than usual with my son at his appointments to address all concerns which is incredibly unusual for a psychiatrist who usually spends a strict 15 minutes per patient. He's ...
Idk why the negative reviews. I’ve never had a better psychiatrist then Dr. O. He makes me feel incredibly comfortable right away & he seems to always understand how I’m feeling & his responses often feel like the words I just couldn’t manage to find & he just says them like he knew exactly what I meant. I can’t reccomend him enough. U won’t regret it.
At times it's over an hour past the appointment before we can get in. He's a nice guy but now he has a policy that if you miss you're appointment or reschedule, it takes forever (over a month) to get back in to see him and he won't refill the prescription until you're appointment. Why make the child suffer because you have to reschedule an appointment? Currently looking for a better therapist!!
besides the fact of the two hour wait to actually see the doc & the inconsistency of them telling me one thing and not doing it; dr. o is the biggest joke, my last (2nd app) i left crying because he literally didn’t know what he was talking about. didn’t even have my records and it was two months into it!! didn’t ask me how i felt with my med changes or anything then had the audacity to ask me why i was crying, worst experience EVER he doesn’t truly care about your well being or want to help anyone besides his stomach! he literally was smacking chips my whole first appointment
dr oruwari was a miracle send to us ! yes sometimes the wait is long, but worth it. he takes time with all his patients as needed to make the right prognosis. thank you ! dr .
Booked for new patients through November. Don't bother.
Dr Oruwari is a great doctor and spends the needed time to get a clear picture of his patient's condition. I recommend him for pediatric psychiatric care.
Horrible patient to doctor relationship and care. This doctor forges falsified information on billing sheets such as "30 min cognitive behavioral therapy" for monetary gain alone. I've never seen the doctor for more than 10 minutes. Oruwari doesn't remember faces. Only knows patients by what his computer screen tells him. He drops patients with no reason and no warning with verbal abuse. Awful doctor. Do not go here.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
