Mark Hechler's Online Review Report Card

Recently had allergy testing and sinus surgery with Dr. Hechler and staff. Very pleased with professional treatment from all. Doctor explained clearly what he was going to do before procedure. Nurses were friendly and very attentive before and after surgery. Felt very comfortable in their care. thank you all. Barb Wilson

Dr. Hechler preformed a surgery on my sinus I liked Dr. Hechler he seemed like he wanted to help and I thought I found a good Friend and Dr. Paid him out of pocket almost $4000 and insurance paid about $25000. I paid upfront. Had to go to fallow up visits after surgery. 2 days befor my final follow-up visit I was fired from my job. And the insurance said they wouldn't pay so Dr. Sent me a bill for $1200 I had just lost my job and covid hit. They sent it to collections. I been have problems with my sinus still. And called to see if he would see me. The receptionist said I owed them a bill and he will not see me if I don't pay. I'm hurt. I thought he was going to help me but the minute I have financial issues he is gone. It saddens me. I have a new job now but I'm not going back to his office. I have an appointment at another specialist . I don't owe him anything and will not pay. I thought doctors like this only existed in Hollywood (all about the money) but it's here in this community. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Doctors don't listen to their patients anymore. I really wanted to like him but he humiliated me and left me helpless. I had a inner ear infection and my face was numb....my sinus was swollen. He based everything on a CT that showed nothing ( probably because it was not dedicated to the ear area) he refused to do an endoscope on my sinus and told me I just need anxiety medication. After it went untreated several years it destroyed my inner ear ,my ear drum and spread to my skull....they are good about getting you in fast thoug.h

I've had multiple surgeries here and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Friendly staff and one-stop surgery center.

Dr. Hechler took my tonsils out a week ago. When I went in for my surgery, the staff made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. When it was time to start my surgery, my anxiety increased. The anesthesiologist had a great sense of humor which helped. I didn't feel anything during the surgery. Afterwards, Dr. Hechler made sure I had the pain meds to get me through the coming two weeks. The nurses explained what to expect. This recovery wasn't easy. The one thing I really appreciated was that Dr. Hechler was always responsive to my concerns, even on the weekend. As someone who struggles with anxiety, this helped.

They do good work, but they are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! Nuff said.

To be fair to Dr Mark I saw him for chronic sinusitis. He recommended a surgical window. He did the surgery and told me "it didn't go as well as I wished". My bones failed to be excised as expected. This resulted in the whole side of my face to swell after I blew my nose gently. Air had leaked under the skin that felt like bubble wrap. That resolved with time. Since then I've had food escape while chewing and goes into the "window" the Dr created. Pills, beans, pieces of meat and other things have found their way into the too large sinus window. Now many many years later air escapes up into my eye creating a crepitus sensation in the eye which also audibly clicks with blinking. He was young and it was early in his career. When I returned to him with related problems I was condescended to whispered loud enough to hear some not very nice comments and those whispers we rude, uncalled for and totally misconstrued in the negative. This was within the last few years. Not recommended.

I had my surgery on my nose there and due to covid I had to be inside without any of my family and Dr. Hechler and all the nursing staff were so good at helping me feel at home and make sure I was doing alright. They were very caring and it made me feel that they tríelo care. Would highly recommend

Went for an office visit and charged $250 for consultation and another $270 for "surgery". Only procedure performed was looking in my ears, nose and throat;far from anything surgical. Update: spoke with office a week ago they said they would update claim to my insurance. Just received a phone call from co co manager stating they will not update and I am out the $270 from my health account. I would have given negative star rating if I could. Avoid going to see these crooks!

The boogie man doesn't scare me! Tandi and the staff keep Doc Mark in line.
