List of Susan Lake's Reviews
I am a huge fan of Dr. Jason Lake's! I had just moved to Boston, Massachusetts in 2003 and we had came back to Clinton Missouri to finish the sale of our home. I went to see Dr. Jason Lake for my annual check-up, as our daughter had just started working for him. Imagine my surprise after my first check-up when he said, "I am sending you to a see Dr. Freddo, a specialist with kerataconous". "He is going to put you in contact lenses, and you will be amazed how much better you will see." I had been told that I could not wear contacts by my former Ophthalmologist. I saw Dr. Freddo at the University of Massachusetts; and sure enough, contacts for me at age 53. I went from having 20/40 vision with my glasses to 20/20 with contact lenses. I have continued my care with Dr. Jason Lake since moving back to Missouri, and I wouldn't go to anyone else. Congratulations Dr Jason Lake on your award! You certainly have done a great job! I have been a patient of Dr. Jason Lake's for almost 10 years. I first saw Dr. Lake as I was in the process of relocating to the Boston Massachusetts area. I went in for a routine vision test as I was having issues with my glasses. During the evaluation he found what he felt was the beginnings of a glaucoma condition in my right eye. Since I was leaving very soon he referred me to Dr. Babak Eliassi-Rad of Boston University Eye Associates. Once I saw Dr Eliassi-Rad, he confirmed that I did indeed have a glaucoma condition. He commented that it was so "slight" that he could not believe Dr. Lake was able to see it. He began treatment and I have been in treatment for this condition ever since. About six years ago I returned to this area and Dr. Lake has been my "go to" eye care professional ever since. He has worked with me through cataract surgery and a partially detached retina. He had spotted these conditions early on and referred me to various specialists as needed. - Donald Varner

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
