List of Christian D. Linz's Reviews
If I could give this doctor a zero I would. I saw him back in June. My entire visit in a nutshell. His nurse come in and says he will be in shortly. Ok. He finally comes in about 40 minutes late. This is usual. He introduced himself. He looks at my knee which at this time has been swollen since January. He says, I am sending you to PT. I ask him, "what is wrong with it " He states to me again, "I am sending to PT, I ask again, " What is wrong with it?" Then he asks me, "Are you going to get a second opinion?" I ask him again, " What is wrong with it?" He asks me, "What have you been doing for it?" Before I even answered, He grabbed my leg and started pushing it and bending it while I was sitting in the chair. I finally able to say, "I have been keeping it up.on the sofa." He told me that is fine and to continue to do that. I stood up, limped out with him saying, "Good luck with you second opinion." He was laughing at me. I will never use this so-called doctor again. 3 days later I ended up in Urgent Care. I have a full leg splint and my leg is still swollen and it is almost 8 months since my fall. I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR! I changed insurance companies so I could get an answer about my knee. My new doctor immediately ordered an MRI. I had torn my ACL, and I have so much scar tissue that I am going to have to have my leg amputated. Do not use this doctor. He will do the same thing to you.
I very rarely write reviews and admittedly this one is a little late in coming, but I wanted to weigh in on my overwhelmingly positive experiences with Dr. Linz. I had a nasty workplace accident in mid-December 2020 while doing fieldwork at an environmental job site in nearby New Haven. I was brought to Mercy Hospital in Washington by my co-worker, and it turns out I had a bad spiral fracture of my right tibia. Dr. Linz performed surgery (titanium rod insert with screws) that day, and I remained in his care throughout my recuperation period. It was a long and painful recovery process, but Dr. Linz was there every step of the way, and I'm happy to say that I've regained full use of my right leg. I also wanted to comment on Dr. Linz's staff, who were always friendly and professional.
I just want to thank Dr.Linz I have been struggling for over a month not being able to walk. He takes the time and explained everything thoroughly. He drain the water off my knee and gave me a Cortizone shot and I feel wonderful thank you Dr. Linz😊
Dr. Linz and Mitch are amazing ! They really care and want you to do well. Everything from managing your pain to explaining what will be needed before and after surgery. I also was impressed with the nurses, home care nurses and physical therapists. When I tell people about how well my knee surgery went they all want to know, WHO WAS YOUR SURGEON!
I'm still too upset and angry to talk about it. Please don't get any hip replacements done with him. Extremely Arrogant!
Dr. Linz gave me my active life back. I am 7.5 months post surgery and just finished riding the entire Katy Trail for the 4th time this spring (226 milesx4). Dr. Linz is personal and professional, and gave me every confidence for a complete and active recovery.
I would never recommend this doctor. I fell over a year ago. My visit didn't even take place until June of 2020. This doctor comes in and looks at the x-rays. I asked him, "What is wrong with my leg?" It has been swollen 2x it's size from my fall. He says, "Are you going to get a second opinion? This continues for 2 minutes. He says he is going to send me to PT! He doesn't even know what is wrong with it! He asks me, "What have I been doing for my leg." I tell him, "Propping it up on the couch." He says, "Continue that." Then he grabs my leg, pushed it under the chair till it pops. All I see is black and I feel horrible back pain! As I am trying to navigate getting out the door, he is laughing and yelling, "Good luck with your second opinion!"
Dr. Linz did a hip replacement on my mother on February 20th and crushed her sciatic nerve. She went in walking and came out unable to feel anything from her knee down. She was fitted for an AFO and given a walker and sent home unable to walk by herself. Since then she got a infection on the back of her leg from the AFO which she had to go back in the hospital to get better. To get the infection to heal she had to see Dr. Vanderah every week for six weeks to wrap the leg with a special wrap until that wound heeled. The last 3 weeks she was seeing Dr. Vanderah I noticed a small spot on her heel and told Dr. Vanderah about it. She said don’t worry about it. Just clean it and put a bandage on it. The next week we were there I told her about the spot on her heel and it was bleeding and black looking. She said the same thing. The third week it was not looking good and she said the same thing. So I was very concerned about this heel not looking good and I called Dr. Thanawalas office and said her foot looked really bad and infected could someone look at it. We seen the nurse practitioner and she was very concerned and prescribed her an antibiotic and referred her to a wound surgeon. By that time we went back to the ER and she was admitted to the hospital and the next day the wound surgeon came into her room and had to cut some of her heel off. Finally got her home and went back to see the wound surgeon again and he had to cut a little more off her heel. My mother is 79 years old and has not had to be on pain medicine on a daily basis until she went in to get a hip replacement that was suppose to help her not hurt her. She now lives with pain every day of her life unable to live by herself or even walk without assistance. This surgery has not only made my mother’s life a living hell but it has also affected her families life on a daily basis. We have to watch her live in pain daily and can’t do anything about it. So Dr. Linz is not a 4 star Dr. in my eyes. Nor is Dr. Vanderah who could have probably stopped the infection on her heel if she would have just took the time to look at it closer instead of blowing it off and saying put a bandage on it.
He got me walking again! I had a hip replacement I was in sooo much pain before.after I had the surgery 2 weeks later I could do things I haven't done before. He made me feel comfortable and, was so nice, and I'll go again for my knee pain. I'm great full to have him.
I broke my wrist when I fliped my 4 Wheeler. He was so nice I thought he was cute

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
