D. Bruce Glover's Online Review Report Card

First off, everyone at this practice is always so nice when you come in! We were new to the area and Dr. Glover was recommended to us by a friend/co-worker. We could not be happier with having him to guide us and take care of our baby through our pregnancy. Not one time has he ever made us feel rushed and he is always more than happy to answer any questions we may have. He is very informative and also friendly. His nurse and technician are also wonderful. They are kind and very reassuring when you have concerns. I have never felt silly calling their office about anything. We are overall just very happy with the choice to pick him as our Doctor!

Been with Dr. Glover for 16 years and I have no complaints. He is kind, professional, & thourough. I actually live in St. Louis now and still drive to Washington to see him which I have not done for any other doctor.

This is about a year later but didn't think about sharing my experience with Dr. GLOVER, my doctor for both my children was Dr. Potts and can not recommend him enough!!! I loved Dr. Potts with both my pregnancies and he will forever be my choice with any future pregnancies! But with my second birth glover was on duty at 10pm when I went in after being in labor for about 4 days, and from the start he just didn't seem to want to listen to me at all. The nurses were wonderful as always! Glover checked my dilation once and he was extremely rough with it. I have been checked by numerous people, Potts and multiple nurses, and never did it hurt like with glover I told him and he brushed it off and said I should basically get over it since I'm about to push a baby out anyway. I told him he needs to be more gentle and he ended up giving up since I was too tense and made a nurse check me thankfully, she was so much better! He then told me I would end up going home if I didn't dilate more but I have been having contractions about 5 minutes apart for almost 2 days at this point and I tried to tell him with my first labor I wouldn't dilate until I got the epidural since I tense up when I am in pain. He just told me that wouldn't help. Clearly without being my doctor he knew more about my body then me... 🙄 by 8am the next day my doctor, Dr. Potts, finally made it in and immediately he gave me my epidural and popped my water even though I was at the same dilation as when I came in at 10 pm the night before. I labored overnight doing the birth ball and walking to help but like the first time I was too tense from the pain to dilate. After the epidural and water popping, and hour later my baby was out! I am only thankful for waiting all night just for Dr. Potts to get there and birth my second baby along with him being the doctor to birth my first. All in all DO NOT RECOMMEND DR. GLOVER!

Dr Potts was my doctor but when I went in for my second GLOVER was on duty.He didnt want to listen to me.He checked my once and was rough told me to stop being so tense but thats what I do when I feel pain.Said to get over the pain since I was about to push a baby out.Finally after I told him he needed to be more gentle he gave up and had a nurse check me thankfully.Only time a check hurt like that!He told me if I didnt dilate I would go home and I tried to tell him that with my first I didn't dilate until I got the epidural and then it went super fast.He just acted like he knew more about me even though I had never even spoken to him.So after going in at 10pm I had to labor all night until my doctor, Potts got in and he immediately gave me my epidural and broke my water and within the hour my baby girl was here! I am only thankful Glover made me wait so my doctor was able to deliver my second as he did my first.With how Glover handled my labor process didnt want him delivering me!

If I could rate him a zero I would!

I don't know where I'd be today if it wasn't for this man. He is the best ob doctor I have ever had. he is kind and he actually cares about his patients, and in today's world that is very hard to find. he has performed 3 surgeries on me. the last one just a few weeks ago. my right ovary was twisted in my bowels and stuck to my bladder along with being filled with adhesions and scar tissue. he was able to get everything taken care of and I am healing wonderfully. I would recommend him endlessly. thank you Dr. Glover for giving me my life back

Wonderful experience. He explained everything, answered all questions, prepared me for surgery and assured me everything would go well. It all went well. Very good after-care in the hospital and after I got home. Wonderful, caring attitude. I am very pleased with everything associated with my treatment and Dr. Glover.

Horrible bedside manner. Screamed at my niece and stormed out of the room saying she was not in labor even when her contractions were every 2min and hitting 76 out of 100 on the graph, then he sent her home. Two hours later, she went to a different hospital and had the baby. This man is awful and I would not recommend him to any first time mothers.

Dr. Glover is very compassionate. He is informative. He is focused on prevention, not simply treatment. He is soft spoken in his delivery. He never makes you feel rushed. I am forever grateful to those who recommended him to me.
