Dr. Chalk performed a knee replacement and a hip replacement on me and they both came out excellent. Both surgeries were done in Jan. (not the same year) and I was trout fishing on ice three weeks later both times. By the way I didn't tell Dr. Chalk about the ice fishing. I went in with severe leg pain recently and he correctly diagnosed the cause and prescribed medication that helped it very much by the next day.

I waited in the waiting room 2hours and finally left. They had over booked big time!!! When I told secretary I was leaving, they still did not know how much longer I would have to wait.I also was never really comfortable with his knowledge.My second opinion proved me correct.

Dr. Chalk is a well-known, well-respected physician, not only in the Franklin County, MO area, but in St. Louis County as well. He is a very knowledgeable, capable surgeon, and his bed-side manner is second to none. I would give him the highest recommendations without any reservation.
