He did my gallbladder surgery and refused to give me enough time off after I developed a huge hematoma of blood on the inside making my whole stomach black and purple. My stomach felt like I had a 15 lbs baby in it I couldn't barely walk let alone go to work. He had no support or concern for my pain I'll never go to Mercy Hospital of Washington Missouri for serious surgery again. I went to the emergency room and stay out in the waiting room almost 4 hours. They took my urine and blood while in the waiting that how long they continued to disregard my issues.

Dr. Gildehaus made me feel very comfortable before, during, and after my laparoscopic surgery to remove my gallbladder. He’s thorough, patient, & kind. Something about his demeanor is very calming and really put me at ease. His office staff & nurses were also very friendly and helpful.

If anyone in my little family ever needed a Surgeon of whom is both extremely intelligent & as sharp as a tack i would travel just to have the best care by this man. he's the only surgeon to ever make me feel comfortable & he gave me plenty of options for my issue. He explains things very clearly & he has a lot of patience and understanding and i will go to him if i need to eventually get my surgery. im very happy to be his patient and he is a very respectable Doctor.

He addressed my medical concern. Schedule me for surgery within a week. In addition, was very impressed at how he took the time to read the notes of my previous surgerys. Also, the staff at Verdine, Cassette & Guildehaus. They took the time and were very helpful with my "nervous rambling", questions. Thanks

Had to have emergency surgery and Dr. Gildehaus was on call that evening. Glad he was! Great job and was very informative, great bedside manner and followed up after surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr. Gildehaus and I would most certainly use him again. Thanks Doc!
