I went here over a year ago and I loved him and I'm trying to get back in with him because I moved

What in the world is up w some lower ratings?! Dr Tompson was a Godsend to me. He was friendly, down to earth, the ladies in office professional, and helped me maintain a level of pain that I was best so far, and best of all, non judgmental. It is too bad I moved out of area. I would drive there if it was not against office policy. Highly recommended.

Dr. Thompson gave me an injection in my back and caused a horrible hematoma that caused horrible pain for months! He seen me once, ran no test, wrote me a prescription for addictive pain meds and never checked on me again. When I went in a nurse ask me how I was doing and renewed pain meds. If it had not been for my primary care doctor running test and treating me I would have been in bad trouble! If something goes wrong Dr. Thompson is thru with you!!! I AM THRU WITH HIM...FOREVER!

He really cares and takes the time to keep trying things until my pain is managed.

Dr Tompson and his staff have always treated me with respect. His nurse practitioner is very helpful. Sometimes life is not good and I can call and they will get me in for injections or consult. Dr Tompson is always very friendly and helpful. He and his staff are always there to help. I welcome their rules and oversight. When you hurt like I do, all you want is for someone to care. These people do...if you need a pain management specialist, this is the Doctor. Just be honest and always make good choices. After all, they have to answer for the decisions they make. Real simple don’t be stupid.

This Dr. has problems with patients and keeps every record including missed appts. , med counts, drug tests private. Then when something is wrong or a drug test shows anything. They will drop you without calling you! They will send a letter in the mail is all. No chance to find another Dr.. They don't let you know anything is wrong until its to late. Don't be around anyone that smokes pot medically. The failed drug tests for thc, is not nationally recognized. The failed drug test is anything above 15 nl, while nationally it is 50 nl.... Great Dr. but, lacking in care provided to patients!

I have been a patient of Dr. Thompson, and his staff, for more than 7 years now. I have had over 20 operations on my spine, knees, wrists, hands and on other parts of my body. I have been treated by, what I would call, "good" and I have been treated by "Not so good" Doctors and their facilities and staff. I'd like to attest to Dr. Thompson's approach to pain management. He and his staff are very knowledgeable, caring and sympathetic toward each patients issues. Occasionally, this approach may affect a patients scheduling during the day but in my opinion, for the right reason.

The staff is great, As for the Dr, he is very knowledgeable I have had a failing back for 20 years after 1 surgery. I know my injury and researched it, he encourages that... As for the meds. They test you randomly and that is a good thing it weeds out the seekers it is bad enough the new healthcare garbage makes it harder for them as well as the actual injured..

Fantastic place that is clean with nice people!

I love that they take extra precautions to make sure they r not just handing out drugs to addicts. Means they care more about the patient then the $$. Very strict on making the patient responsible for yourself. He does take extra time to make sure u know what is wrong and what ur choices are. Although he is pretty cocky about how good he is. But if ur needing pain management this is the dr to go to. If ur looking for drugs just keep walking.
