List of John F. Wiedner's Reviews
Recently switched to Wiedner because my former Dr. left his practice. Dr. Wiedner forgot to sign for my existing prescription refills. I had to call the office 3 times to finally get them filled. And, he tried to charge me over $1,000 (I don't know why they didn't run my insurance through) for the visit and lab tests. Still waiting on a revised bill, and a response back from them.
DO NOT GO HERE! Zero Stars. Worst place, I have ever dealt with. My husband brought his labs in here, and gave it to the front desk, front desk said to give to Dr. Dr decides that he wants the labs repeated even though they were all normal and charged by husband full price for them. (Didn't receive the results for over a month). I called to see if they can correct that code but no one answers or calls back. A week later I call again and front desk male was so rude, and said it was my husbands fault that he did not hand labs to the receptionist direct(When he did). Not sure what kind of business this is, but this is not how you treat clients. NO answer NO Lab results for a month Full lab price even though labs from a month ago were normal. Oh and the first appointment we had and waited for a month to get-team member called us a 6am that day cancelling because the Dr forgot he had a meeting somewhere so now we are invested and had to wait for the next appt. Should have walked away then. Now we are walking away with over a $500 lab bill and $200 in person bill after our insurance for routine illness and injury.
Twice my son has had appointments there first time they canceled because the AC wasn’t working he drove all the way from St. Peters he just left their office nobody’s there he drove all the way from St. Peters to Wildwood for 2:30 appointment nobody answers the phone no doctors there is no receptionist I assure you he will never go back there again. Terrible unprofessional.
Even though his office is in a very nice area. I have no clue why this guy is in business his office sucks you will end up waiting hours to get your medicine. If you do end up going here. It’s a hour wait in a waiting room then a hour wait in the patient room. Worst ever.
Usually a good experience.
I have been going to Dr. Wiedner for 30 years. Have followed him through four office locations. Never have I been disappointed with him or his staff.
I am 90 years old. I have used many doctors during my lifetime. I give credit to Dr. Wiedner's concern and care for my reaching this age. In a normal way, I have experienced more than a few things that have changed my life style and what I'm able to do. Dr. Wiedner and his staff have always helped me retain my quality of life. I have and will continue to recommend him as a fine physician.
Couldn’t have had a worse experience. You’re better off treating yourself, or waiting for an opening somewhere else. The worst. This guy should pick a different job. Like a cargo train operator. Anything that doesn’t involve other humans. Incredibly unprofessional, insisted my exam had to be NUDE in order for my visit to be covered by insurance, rude, lack of interest in helping me was astounding, ...

Anything that doesn’t involve other humans. Incredibly unprofessional, insisted my exam had to be NUDE in order for my visit to be covered by insurance, rude, lack of interest in helping me was astounding, never returns my calls to hear about my lab work, wait times were forever, prescribes / pushes medication when it’s not necessary, took front desk gal aside and mocked me/ laughed then came back to finish checkout.. (be quieter next time, dingus) Comical, really. Complete $h;t show.
We call and leave a message and rarely get a call back. The last time we called for the doctor it was a week before we got them to do anything and by then it was to late. The staff can be rude and make you feel like we are putting them out. We have had a couple different companies we are working with and we hear the same thing from them, rude and feel like they are putting them out. I have let the doctor know how we felt but it did not help.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
