Dr. Hughley is an exceptional doctor with a calm and practical bedside manner. And despite being responsible for innumerable patients, she always made us feel like she had time to listen and help. During our loved one's hospital stay, instead of assuming a cause without data and giving up as some did, she investigated and asked questions. She listened to our concerns, analyzed the data, and *healed.* She saved our loved one's life more than once during the stay, which allowed us more time together and for that we are truly grateful. It has been the better part of a year and that time keeps me up at night, but also not thanking Dr. Hughley-Emegara keeps me up at night. A truly exceptional doctor who was a bright spot in a very sad time for our family.
