I believe Dr. Baranano was a knowledgeable physician but her bedside manner was horrible. She was jerking my elderly father by shoulders to move him. He has severe arthritis. She was condescending and asked me to stop talking so she could finish. Will not go back to her. I’ll find my dad another specialist.

Dr Ann is currently taking care of my husband. He lost his vision in one eye from uvetitis (inflammation in the eye) . I pray she caught it in time to prevent further damage. He is slowly gaining his sight back but still has a way to go. I highly recommend her for your specialty care. 🙏✝️

Dr Anne Baranano has been treating my retinal issue (detached retina w/complications) since early 2017. Although my initial referral was by Keesler AFB hospital due to my retired military status, I couldn’t have possibly done better. She’s a very professional, knowledgeable and caring doctor with an across-the-board excellent staff and facilities - both in Gulfport and Mobile. She operates out of Providence Hospital in Mobile which I’ve also found to be excellent in my three procedures at that facility.

Dr. Baranano took great care of me! I have had problems that had been overlooked for years by other specialists. She diagnosed me with CSCR, and I had laser treatment to correct the problem. I have even regained vision since the treatment. She and her staff have been always made me feel very welcome.

Dr. Baranano is very rude, and I did not at all enjoy my visit to her office. The reason I was sent from my regular eye doctor was very scary and serious, and when I asked Dr. Baranano for any comforting words or any feedback at all regarding the situation, she had absolutely no answers. All she said was things like "There is no way to tell" or "Well that's a possibility, but I can't tell you anything for sure." Isn't that what you went to school for so long for? To give me some BS answers? Instead, she let me walk out of her office frantic, ordered an unnecessary MRI, and put me into a serious amount of medical bill debt with no comfort at all. Turns out nothing was wrong with me, and I won't be back.

Dr Baranano is always friendly and professional, as is her staff. My questions have always been answered and procedures explained. I've been seeing Dr. Baranano for almost 4 years for wet AMD. I would give her 10 stars if that were possible.
