I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Winters. He has fixed my back twice - a herniated disc repair in 2017 and a laminectomy with spinal fusion in 2022. Each time, he tried conservative measures first to see if they would fix the problem. He spends time with you and explains what the problem is, your test results and the options and risks. He is caring, compassionate and an excellent surgeon. Dr. Martin is excellent as well. He is personable and takes the time to explain in plain language the issue, options and potential outcomes. The nurses and staff are efficient and courteous. This is the best orthopedic practice in Mississippi.

He was very kind and treated me with kindness and concern. He explained what was going on and talked with me about solving my medical problems. I feel good about him being my Dr. I am also very pleased with all of his experience. I trust him with my medical needs. Patti, his assistant was very helpful as well.

The most recent experience was not good. He did not truly listen to me this time which was upsetting and his recommendations were not as they had been the previous week. I am very conflicted about what to do next, and this for someone who had the most excellent care previously. Last week he told me I would probably need an MRI to see if I had ruptured a disc, this time he said "physical therapy". I cannot do PT because movements involved in that would cause even more pain! Good thing I dont want it because the therapists never called to schedule! I have to think hard about returning to this office now.

Dr. Winters is very thorough. Explains things easily. Tells you what to expect. Keeps a great schedule. Has awesome staff. Goes above and beyond for your best care and recovery.

Dr. Winters has been my Doc. For close to 25 yrs I was going to his Fathers Clinic do many yrs before that all great Spine Doctors when I moved to Ms back in the 90’s started seeing Doctor winters never hade a moments Regret he explained my problem to me and fix it no more problems
