Dr. Shelby and his staff have changed my entire life! When I came to his office two years ago, I had a really bad attitude concerning doctors. I had been extremely ill for the last six years, and was walking with a cane most days, due to inept doctors telling me that my “illness” was psychosomatic (all in my head). So I was guarded right from the start, but Dr. Shelby set me up with specialists who did extensive testing which led to a proper diagnosis. Because Dr. Shelby cared more about me, the patient, than about my health insurance plan, I was able to receive medication that has turned my life around. Also, shout out to Sarah Hill, ARNP, who now coordinates my medical care in the office on my follow up visits. Honestly, this is the first doctor to whom I have referred my friends, and I will happily continue to do so! Thank you for everything you have done for me.

I have many chronic conditions and live with lots of pain. I was simply told in the most unfriendly of terms you're fat and need to lose weight. All of my conditions are chronic and I was basically told you're screwed. He has no problem making you feel like you're worthless and undeserving of life. No matter how much weight I lost, nothing was good enough for this guy. If you are hurting and just need help to get back to your life, if you have chronic conditions, if you live in pain constantly, please find another doctor. He does not care unless your BMI is perfect and his work is minimal.
