We saw Dr Leis for a broken hand, He gave us 2 options 1. To have a cast for 4 months and it will heal perfectly fine or 2. have one screw put in and it will heal in 4 to 6 weeks. We chose surgery since it will heal faster. Surgery center called and quoted us a price so everything was good to go. Now here we are the day before and surgery center doesn’t have the screw so moved it to the hospital now the price went up $4200 from the surgery center price. When I call the doctor back to tell him there is no way we can afford that he says well his hand will just heal deformed and I will see him in 4 weeks. I asked how will his hand heal deformed if surgery was an option and the other option was to just stay in the cast that he is in. She couldn’t explain that so the doctor just lied!! No thank you we will never use Bienville Orthopedic EVER!!!

I had broken left wrist in Florida and had metal plate and screws,Dr.Leis was great he not only went in and removed the plate and screws,he also worked on my carpal tunnel and help to relief alot of the pain! They really take care of you and your needs, I will only recommend them to all family and friends! Thanks for everything!

My surgery was Tuesday, April 5. I had arthroplasty on my right hand middle finger and ring finger. Surgery is not something that a lot of people look forward to and it sure helps when you have a good doctor and very professional, caring staff. From Jana, my pre-op nurse, to Dr. Dix, to Dr Leis my overall experience was nothing shy of perfect. They were great about explaining everything and keeping my fiancé informed from beginning to end.

I love his no nonsense approach. He is straight to the point, explains conditions, treatment and recovery in detail. His Nurse Practitioner is very attentive and nice, as are his nurses. I will not use anyone else.
