Dr Barot has been following me since the beginning of my diagnosis with cirrhosis of the liver end stage he has been there for me through anything and everything that's coming about in the past for years is the best doctor I have and I hope to never have to choose another.

Dr Barot chose to call in a team to perform surgery on my 86-yr-old dad at 1:30 am, which saved his life!!! I’m so glad he took my dad’s condition seriously and didn’t wait!!! Answered prayers!!!

Saw NP DANA in Gulfport Office. MISDIAGNOSED! Had access to X-ray taken during ER visit. Totally disregarded results. Sent me for extensive blood test, upper GI, lower GI, abdominal MRI. Diagnosed everything normal, no reason for abdominal bloating, pain and weight gain. She suggested “I look in the mirror.” In frustration, I suggested could it be my liver. She then advises me I have Fatty Liver (remember the disregarded test results from ER visit in November 22). She then sends me for a Liver Ultrasound. Results Stage 2-3 Fatty Liver. I first saw Dana in January 23 (soonest appt I could get). It is now mid-May 23. I have continued to suffer and additional 5 months because of her incompetence as a NP. My advice. GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. Instead of apologizing for missing the mark, she actually again blamed me and suggested it best it I see someone else for my gastroenterology needs because I was aggressive with her (remember the look in the mirror comment). Personally, I would call it Forthright! Asking her, Why did you send me for all that testing but have access to my X-ray from the first appointment which shows Fatty Liver? Asking her, Why would you tell me to look in the mirror? This NP should be fired!

Had a 9:30 AM appointment on Monday, May 1, 2023. Took vital signs and weight. Told them we were there for GI consult. Went to exam room and waited until 11:15AM. Nobody came to the exam room to inform us on why we were waiting so long. I went to the front desk and ask where Dr Barot was and none of them knew. Left and will never make another appointment with this office as my time is something I do not not appreciate being wasted.
