this hospital does not have doctors that care about the patients that come in here. They have a policy of no Narcotics given in the Emergency room yet there are times when that policy should be over looked and a patients needs met. The nurses are awesome and care but when I had to take my member of my family to the emergency room the doctor did not listen nor did she care nor did she give time and yet I am sure the bill will be one they want paid. This doctor had the nerve to tell the patient I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU ARE IN PAIN. Ah did you care to look at the MRI did you care to hear this was an emergency that it was a weekend this hospital does NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONE I FEEL SORRY FOR ANYONE WHO HAS TO GO HERE AND HAVE ANYTHING DONE. I WILL NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL

Needs Better Drs and nurses on night shift dont go there you better go to tupelo or Corinth for help Booneville wont even check you out.

This is a horrible place. Took someone tues night with chest hurting and flu symptoms. A dr mcintosh Swanson female Dr came in for 30 seconds. Called this person obese said your a disaster your grown get it together. Ordered a steroid shot. No flu tests or chest xrays This person is taking all types of medicine and still extremely sick.. People speak up Ive reported to administrator and going to medical board in jackson ms then to a lawyer. Everyone sign a petition

0 stars if I could. The regular doctors and nurses are fantastic. I have never had an issue but the ER is abysmal. Two examples My mom went cause she was having trouble with her breathing she’d had lung problems for years and they told her she was fine. The next day she was airlifted by Tupelo ER to Birmingham where she died a month later. Also my family got in a wreck and they were about to do discharge my sister and she still had a shard of glass in the back of her head.

I took my mother to be admitted to the Behavioral Health unit of this hospital. We entered thru the ER by ambulance. She laid on bed in WAITING ROOM for at least 30 min. before even being taken back.I will just say it was downhill from there. Will NEVER go back and would not take my worst enemy to Behavioral Health unit.

Its the only hospital I have spent time in that I was not afraid to stay without a family member. The staff is friendly caring they work hard to provide a safe place conducive to proper successful healing.
