Mark T. Barron's Online Review Report Card

I will NOT recommend Dr. Barron. He does not deserve a star. He is unprofessional and rude. We went to an appointment for MRI results 3 months after an MRI was done. The appointment was set up solely for the MRI results of my spouses shoulder. Dr. Barron started off the appointment with an x-ray of his neck. He did not prep for this appointment and would not read the MRI results. Instead he wanted a new patient history and an x-ray. This was the 3rd appoint with KDMC spine and we saw 3 physicians there without any answers. Dr. Barron was extremely rude and belittling. He said, “I don’t understand, why you don’t understand that I need a new patient history.” He already had the pt. history from 2 prior visits, an MRI and an x-ray. We referenced the prior history and his demeanor and he refused treatment. We already paid for this service! My spouse will have to start all over seeking answers, take more time off of work and pay more money. This Dr. cares about his ego more than he cares about patients.

Dr Barron did a fine job on my mom's hip! Very nice and friendly service. Very clean. Would highly recommend!

I saw Dr. Barron himself every day I was in the hospital for a hip replacement, he visited about the same time everyday, he never acted as if my questions or my wife’s bothered him, and I felt extremely confident in his skills. - R. Beach

Dr Barron and the staff at KDMC Orthopedic’s performed a multi level fusion on my back. Dr. Barron explained the potential outcomes and chances for success. He was very polite, informative and thorough in every way. Would highly recommend him and the staff. Excellent Care!!

Did not tell me the correct results of my MRI. It was more serious than he led on. Spent over a grand on procedures that I didn't need nor were they going to help. He hurt my back even more by forcing me to bend backwards. Cared more about himself than others. Took over a week of my husband calling his office to get the procedures started. Would not let him work on an ant.

Dr. Mark Barron has been my neurosurgeon going on 2 years. He did a cervical fusion on c6-c7 on 9-5-17, it never healed, so on 8-14-18 he had to take a piece of my pelvic bone, go in to redo c6-c7 from the front, then flip me over and do the same level from the rear. So far it has been very successful.

Dr Barron is very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner without his patients. He has done one of my spinal surgeries and some of my husbands. We have been very pleased with him as a doctor. Will continue to use him for our spinal needs.

I love this Doctor . He’s professional yet personable . He is a very skilled back surgeon and does hip and knee replacements . His patients love him , including me and many family members who he has done surgery on or treated in his office .
