My family recently had the pleasure of working with Dr. Blackwood on an emergency basis which turned into a hospital stay. I cannot say enough good things about the experience. He was thorough and extremely caring and accommodating. He aggressively addressed this issue at hand and readily scheduled a follow-up appointment to insure the matter was resolved.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Dr. Blackwood. He's been my dr 5 years now. I live 35 minutes away from his office and I drive to see him with no problem/complaints when it's time for my appt. He is patient, kind, knowledgeable and genuinely cares/loves his clients. His staff is friendly as well esp...Angela. I highly recommend him. 20 stars.

He was my Dr with my first pregnancy and always made me comfortable, was told in another state I was having a molor pregnancy with my 2nd pregnancy a week later moved home and he assured me that it's not a molor pregnancy and I'm in fact having a baby. Would recommend him to anyone.

Bad experience with this dr. Placed the wrong information in my medical records

Bad dr. Placed incorrect info in medical records. Always rushing out of appts without taking time to explain anything. He doesn't care about his patients. Especially the black ones.

I was horribly sick and he would give me nothing to make me better. I had bronchitis (diagnosed by the hospital) and dr blackwood told me I was fine (without running any tests). I switched to Clarksdale and I have never made a better choice. I have heard nothing but bad things about Blackwood and Baugh and from what my family (including my mother in law being told to shut up by blackwood while in labor and my friend being told to be quiet it didnt hurt that bad during labor in 2009 by baugh) I would not doubt it!!
