Every front desk person is rude. I understand a long day I work too, but you do not have to be rude. I went up to 2 different secretaries ,I guess you will call them, and they were both extremely rude. I do not like this hospital at all. If you can go to OCH in starkville do it! Update: this place is still trash.

I honestly cannot say enough good about the staff and care I received! I opted to drive an extra 17 minutes to Columbus instead of going to our local regional hospital. So glad I did. The staff was AMAZING!! Even though I was in serious pain when I arrived they were able to keep me laughing. After sign in, I was called back for vitals within 15 minutes. Then taken to a room within 20 minutes of that and the only reason it was 20 minutes was because an “emergency” came in and I myself opted to step down to allow them to go on back. I stayed there for 3 nights and Ms. Ashley, Ms. Shelby and Ms. Hayden on the fourth floor was awesome. They checked on me on the regular and made sure I had everything I needed

Not only was the front desk staff rude at arrival, my grandmother was admitted in ICU for a little over a week and they somehow managed to lose her glasses AND her dentures. So my 90 year old grandmother has no glasses or teeth after her stay at this place.

I will never trust any of these ER doctors or nurses with myself or my child in their hands.

My husband’s, John Gwathney, hearing aid tip that fits into the ear canal broke off into his ear canal earlier today. The pain was increasing as the night went on so he decided it was best to go to the ER. He checked in at 9:28 and was seen, piece removed, discharged and we were back in the car headed home at 10:08. Thank you so much! I know the ER and all of the hospital has been so overwhelmed in the last 20 months. I cannot say enough about the efficiency tonight. Job well done!!! I didn’t catch the two triage nurses names but in the room Amber Doughty, RN and the Nurse Practitioner’s last name was Parker were great with my husband.
