List of Ronald Kellum's Reviews
Apparently my urine didn't show an infection under the microscope, but later the culture he had fone did in fact show a UTI. Except Noone from his clinic bothered to call and tell me or prescribe any antibiotics. All that resulted from my trip to the walkin clinic. I suffered terribly for a week because of him. Some doctors got A's in school. Some squeaked by with a D. Kellum is the latter.
His office is like a circus and he’s the ring leader. Wait times are ridiculous and he’s always in a rush or extremely late. Takes weeks, sometimes months to get prescriptions refilled or to have them return a phone call. I completely understand why his nickname is “Dr. Kill-em”. Best decision made was changing doctors/MHG and going to the Ochsner system.
Don’t waste your time with this buffoon and if you do, be prepared to waste LOTS of time. He could care less about his patients. Everything is chaos with him and his office. I don’t feel as if he even deserves a review much less anymore of my time.
Pitiful. He is just a waste of time (lots of time) and money. “Dr Kill-em”
Just terrible. He shouldn’t be allowed to flip burgers much less practice medicine.
Dr. Ronald Kellum is one of the best doctors I have had the pleasure to engage as a Family Practitioner. I have 16 years experience in the healthcare field and he is among the best educated and informed of the vast majority of doctors. He has excellent bedside manner and cares deeply about his patients and their health.
Dr. Kellum it the WORST doctor I have every been to. I had blood tests taken 3 days before by visit to Kellum. Some of the results were higher and some lower then the range. He would not even look at the results because the test was not prescribed by a doctor from the "Memorial System". He said he would not recommend a doctor unless he/she was in The System. His wife, Dr. Ghaffari, is my primary doctor but she was unavailable for 3-4 weeks.
If you have an appointment at 9am you don't get called back till 10:30 to do your check in. Had blood work done 2 1/2 weeks ago and still waiting for that phone call to get my results. Called today at 8:50 am was put on hold for 17 minutes, I hung up and called back, only to be put on hold again, then she came back on the phone to tell me that Connie would call me back in 10 minutes because she was getting ready to do an injection and would call me back to give me my results, well, I'm still waiting, 1 1/2 later...im I very displeased with this Dr's office and how they handle things, I have never in my life waited this long to get called back to the room to see the Dr, or waited this long for a call back for my results, very disappointed with them, I hope Dr kellum sees this and does something about his staff and how they handle things!! And the wait time SUCKS HERE!! Don't plan to do anything for at least 3-4 hours after your appointment time. It's horrible!!. Sorry to write this kind of review but you seriously need to work on your staff and how they handle things and scheduling your appointments and the wait time. Your a great Dr when I do see you but the office mannerism needs to change
Dr Kellum and his wife are by far the best doctors I have ever had.
I started going to Dr. Kellum and Dr. Ghaffari about 7 years ago and I think they are both excellent!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
