Dr. G has a tendency to overdo his biopsies which leads to absolutely nothing with inconclusive results. I also don't appreciate that when he performs procedures that require general anesthesia, it's his wife who used to be the anesthesiologist.

Dr. Gulanikar performed a surgical procedure on me at River Oaks. The following day I was in a lot of pain. His nurse refused to allow me to come in to be seen. I had to go to the ER for help. During my follow up visit, Dr. Gulanikar said I need to go to New Orleans to see a specialist to have a section of my ureter cut out. I went to see another urologist for a second opinion. I did not need to have my ureter cut out. Dr. Gulanikar was wrong.

I can not recommend this physician. I reported two of his extremely rude and aggressive office employees through his wife whom is his anesthesiologist and was suddenly issued a refund and removed from their practice just ahead of kidney stone removal. This office put me in a very bad position then Covid hit. This physician is not at all concerned with his employees behavior. Find someone else.

Dr. Gulanikar listened carefully, read referral reports, explained what was going on and what The Plan was. He presented options with probable outcomes and was patient as we considered and chose. He and his staff could NOT have been more attentive, courteous, and capable. Other doctors commented that his reports to them were concise but thorough and detailed.

We found him to be highly skilled, compassionate, and honest about my situation and prognosis 11 years ago. He has continued to follow me with the same interest, compassion and competence. Would recommend him without question.

My son normally sees Dr. Condon with a hx of kidney stones. He had been to the ER and was supposed to follow up with him but started having blood in his urine and then unable to void at all. Called the clinic and was told come to see Dr. Gulanikar because Dr. Condon wasn't available. My son goes back to see him and was told to get urine sample. Obviously he can't. That's why he was there and he was told by this doctor that he can't do anything for him unless he gets a sample. We went to ER

Dr. Gulanikar was the rudest doctor I have seen yet!! All he would say is that it is all in my head now. As I broke down he just continued to say it was in my head!!! Wish he could feel what all I feel and deal with that he so arrogantly thinks is all in my head! I even had a surgical report with diagnosis and he just said that he didn't believe that was accurate! Would not recommend anyone to see him!!!
