List of Edward Cullom's Reviews
The doctor isn't bad but their patient scheduling is horrendous. I've yet to go there when I haven't waited at least 2 hours. Zero communication on billing, procedure times, etc. When this fiasco is over, I'll never be back.
Finally left after 3 hours. The waiting room was full when I got there and even more when I left. Absolutely no respect for patient. The staff would just say it will be a few minutes. Three hours is more than just a few minutes.
This doctor is awful, I would never use him. My mother allowed him to operate on her and while she was still in the hospital, we were waiting on Dr. Collum to discharge her, he never showed up, he forgot that my mom was in the hospital!! The nurse at the hospital had to call him and let him know that she was still in the hospital. After getting home I called the doctor to tell him that my mom was in a lot of pain but he never bothered to even call me back!! I wish that my mom would have never gone to see him, we don't even know if the surgery was successful because she is still in a lot of pain!
My mom had to wait 4 hours to see the doctor. He has very bad bed side manner, rude. After my mom had her surgery he forgot that she was even in the hospital even though we had been waiting all day for him to discharge my mom from the hospital. The nurse at the hospital had to call him but he still didn't come to the hospital!! We didn't get home until 10pm!! After we got home I called him because ...
Dr. Cullom is a very wonderful talented surgeon. He did surgery on my neck 11 years ago. C4 is fused and I have plastic disc for C5 & C6. I have complete range of motion in my neck. I will never use a different Dr for these issues. I would recommend him to anyone!
A good visit. I came to him 4 years back and he bought me some time by sending me to Comprehensive Pain Center in Madison, MS He had to do surgery on my lower back this time. The surgery and the recovery time was successful. He’s a good man to know and a very good Dr.
A good experience for my first visit. Had to wait a little bit but the entire experience was about an hour from start to finish. Dr. Cullom spent more time with me than most doctors do these days so I appreciated that. Explained the diagnosis and treatment option well. They have moved and their website isn't updated yet with the new address. It's across the street from the hospital and very close to their old location down the street.
They make no one wear masks. Wait time was long. The staff wears no mask. Don’t go there unless you want covid. One lady was coughing and looked really sick and no mask. Find yourself a different doctor.
I went to Dr Cullom for a spinal decompression of the T10, 11, and 12 … I could walk, but I used a cane when I drove long distance. I drove it for surgery and walked in on my own, I DID NOT Walk Out !!!! I was PARALYZED from the waste down as I still am .. I had another surgeon go in and decompress what Cullom missed 7 months later and found out that what Paralyzed me was a pinched nerve that Cullom had pinched during surgery, this nerve is in the Thoracic area and Won’t regenerate, so that means I’m Paralyzed for life because of Culloms mistake , and to make things worse, the Last time I went to him he acted like he had No concern at all !!!!!
This is my second time coming here within 2 days, I waited over an hour both days. On July 26 I waited a 1 1/2 hours so I just walked out because I had somewhere else to be and I didn't know how much longer it would be before I would see the doctor. I stop at the front Desk to let them know I haven't seen the doctor and I need to reschedule because I had somewhere else to be. I was told we can reschedule you for tomorrow morning so you could in and out, I was like ok that would be great. So day one I didn't see the doctor. Now on day 2 my wait is over a hour again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
