Dr.Hopgood was very unprofessional as a physician. He was very aggressive with his approach with speaking with me or my mother. He told me my pain was subjective, and didn’t want to see me as a patient. He came in and didn’t even bother with saying “Hey”. He was very racist. After telling me my pain was subjective (all pain is subjective btw), he began grabbing my injured arm and basically kind of roughing me up. I’m not sure why he was aggressive as he was with me. Before coming in my room, I heard him having a good time in the room next to me. He told the gentleman next door that his X-rays came back perfectly fine. However, with telling me the same, he showed no respect. His nurse just stood on the wall looking as lost as me and my mom was. Wouldn’t recommend you go see him if you are black if I’m being honest.

Dr. Hobgood did a marvelous job putting me back together. I had a torn bicep and rotator cuff and needed a total shoulder replacement. Between physical therapy and his directions, I am pretty much healed up. Great mobility. I can use my arm again. I highly recommend Dr. Hobgood for any shoulder problems.

My visit was great from start to finish. All the staff is inviting and caring. Dr.Hobgood was thorough in explaining my care and options for my full recovery. Definitely recommend to anyone in need of orthopedic care.
