List of Joel Herring's Reviews
great doctor/ great service
Very bad customer service
Bad customer service from the front staff all the way to the office manager
He is a great doctor He did eye surgery on me when I was 12 and thanks to him my eye sight was better.
I have been seeing Dr. Herring over a year now and he is great! He took the time to explain all of my issues as well as answered all of my questions. His staff could not have been more professional and friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Herring to anyone that needs to see an Ophthalmology specialist!
Great doctor, he explained everything.
Dr. Brown has terrible bedside manner. Saw him for less than 5 minutes for my vision problems. Told me my retinas were good and good luck figuring out what was causing the problem
Always perfect
This doctor's greed knows no bounds. He may see for 3-4 minutes total, but that won't keep him from billing you for several hundred! The whole operation is like a production press. There is total lack of personal touch.
Dr. Herring is very calming and really cares about his patients. He answers any questions you may have without hesitation. It isn't easy to get a shot in your eye, but he and his staff do a lot to make the experience as pleasant as possible. I have had 4 shots in both eyes and he rechecks them every 3 months. So far, I have not had the swelling in my retina return and even the beginnings of cataracts have improved with these shots.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
