List of MIssy Mcminn's Reviews
Very nice staff and the Dr McMinn was informative and kind. I appreciate her bedside matter. She also took real good care of my daughter and she prayed for us.
Dr. Missy Mcminn is a very GOOD OBGYN/SURGEON!!!! She performed my abdominal myomectomy procedure with little to no excessive blood loss (I'm Anemic). She has really good bed side manners. She came to check on me every morning during my hospital stay (2days) for any questions I may have and to explain what happened during and after the procedure. My incision (what incision?) it's hard to find, you wont even know it's there. I am very happy with the outcome and I will be returning to this doctor in the future. Will recommend her to every female I know. Thank you so much Dr. Missy Mcminn.

Dr Missy McMinn is truly a genuine caring and wonderful Dr. She has been my dr for over 11 years . She goes above and beyond. She is patient and understanding. She’s truly a dr that works with her patients. Thank you Dr McMinn !
Dr. Mcminn is a very sweet woman and I believe she means well. However, she is too quick to perform procedures without enough testing. I regret not researching the ablation before having it done. It should not be performed after tubal ligation has been done. Novasure warns of this on their website but Dr. Mcminn did not discuss these possible complications. Hysterectomy was necessary soon after. I have since been diagnosed with IC and IBS which I did not have prior to the ablation.
Not necessarily a problem with her, but the clinic is seriously slow at a snail pace waiting room then waiting cramped hallway with others waiting right on top of each other. Not what I would expect from a professional whose business caters to expecting moms.
She is the best dr. I ever had. She is kind, takes her time, and explains everything she does. She has a great bedside manner. She delivered two of my babies.
She removed my fibroids and I never felt better! She is a very good doctor, wish the world had more like Dr. McMinn.
Dr Mcminn is such an amazing person! She is so caring and genuinely cares for her patients. She always gives me a big hug and asks how my family is doing. I recommend her to everyone who is looking for an OBGYN. She is amazing!
I fired my old doctor because he told me he wouldn't help me anymore with my Endometriosis. My dad is the computer engineer for East Lakeland OB/GYN and I went to him asking who I could go see now that I didn't have a doctor and knew I had Endometriosis. The first name that came out of his mouth was Dr. McMinn. He said that with his experiences with her and working with her, he loved her demeanor. So, I made my appointment. My exam was painful and she was so caring and understanding. I couldn't believe it. Eventually, she stopped the exam because she was hurting me and was truly worried that the exam was that painful. With her help and the help of a specialist she sent me to, we discovered that I not only had Stage 4 Endometriosis but also Vulvar Vestibulitis (which is why it hurt) and Interstitial Cystitis. She sat down with me, held my hand, and told me that I'd have to have a full hysterectomy. I don't have children so you can imagine how painful that was. I cried, she cried, we both cried. But she knew that this was what had to happen. And she was right. Surgery was yesterday. She was there and came into my room before surgery, hugged my dad's neck, and introduced herself to my mom. She then held my hand and prayed for me and my parents and that I would have as little pain as possible with recovery. Then, the nurse came in and said it was time to go. Dr. McMinn followed on the side of the bed. No doctor has ever done this with me. The nurse had to stop and my mom and dad had to leave. Dr. McMinn put her hand on my shoulder and said "I'm right here." I was shaking, literally. I'm scared of surgery and she knew that. The entire way back to the operating room, she kept her hand on my shoulder. That night, she called to check on me and found out that I had already been out of bed and walking the halls. She was thrilled. Today, she came to my room at 7:30. I didn't sleep last night so whatever catnaps I could get, I would. I was half asleep when she came in. I heard my mom say "She's exhausted. She didn't sleep last night." I heard Dr. McMinn come over and she sat down on the bed and said "Bless her heart..." she put her hand on my face and woke me gently. It was nice to see her. She asked me how I was doing and I told her that aside from not sleeping, I was okay. Just a lot of pressure and pain. I told her I wanted to go home. She chuckled and said "Well, let's see how you tolerate breakfast and then I'll send you home. I promise." She sat in there and explained the Interstitial Cystitis and explained what needed to be done. She checked my incisions and said I could go home right after breakfast. I was released from the hospital at 9:30 that morning. Okay, sorry this review is really long but I have never experienced a doctor like Dr. McMinn. She's a Godly woman and so compassionate. She's my doctor for life now.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
