Orhan Ilercil's Online Review Report Card

The most assanine, incompetent, and dangerous surgeon. His practices and methods are all for the benefit of himself and his pockets. He butchers more patients than he helps. I wouldn’t let this man work on a stray animal.

After understanding the circumstances better, I would like to retract the last review leaving only 2 stars and condemning commentary. Dr. Ilercil saved my life in 2015 giving me my best chance at life. He continues to impress me with his expertise and caring nature. I know that he truly has my back and would highly recommend him and his wonderful staff to anyone needing his specialty.

Complete misdiagnose ! Didn’t care rushed

I have had three neck surgeries. Dr. Ilercil did the last surgery placing two levels of rods posteriorly C7 - T1. I already have a cage system anteriorly placed from C3/4 - C6/7. While hiking in Alaska something shifted within the levels that Dr. Ilercil did. I had an appointment with him with severe symptoms. My appointment with him was around 3 weeks ago and I am still waiting on referrals to have myelography and nerve conduction studies done to determine extent of injury. The hold up is that he still has yet to complete dictating his notes. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!! I am an incomplete spinal cord injury patient with progressive symptoms, and he is not showing the compassion and care that should be displayed by a medical doctor. They want to blame everyone else, but from my stance maybe he IS the problem. I am fed up with the medical field. Research clearly states that chronicity of injury determines the outcome. I am not longer confident that he cares about my wellbeing!!!

I had to have brain surgery a year ago. I was terrified but he answered all my questions, had an awesome bedside manner, and I felt very comfortable with him performing the surgery. He did a great job and I am so thankful to have met him. He has been a God send to not just me but my family. I feel like he’s part of my family.

On July 23 ,2018 at 10:45 am, both me ,my wife, and mother in law was involved in an automobile accident where an 80 year old Male with pace maker was pulling an horse trailer without any tail lights or signals in Sebastopol , Mississippi . The old man got into a turning lane designated for turning only for school ,and came to a complete stop. As my wife proceeded to pass him driving the speed limit we was struck twice by this old man totaling our vehicle. However , after going to see my primary care doctor Krystal Boyette ,she is also an excellent doctor, and being treated in Neshoba County, she referred me to see Dr. Ohran Ilercil at Mississippi Brain Spine ,in Flowood , Mississippi, after evaluating me . He performed two surgeries on me . He is a God sent ,very nice , knowledgeable, caring and understanding person. He is beyond excellent in what he does. His staff is also very nice and treat you like family. I have no complaints about Dr. Orhan ilercil .

I have been seeing Dr. Irecil for a year and he is awsome and caring. I have had several surgeries with him. I can not describe him any other way. He takes the time to understand his patient and does everthing in his power to help and understand his patients. I finally encouraged my husband to give Dr. Irecil a try and he was at the point of giving up because after decades of being in severe pain and hearing multiple Dr's tell him there is nothing they could help him with and giving him the run around Dr Irecil had him diagnosed and surgery scheduled. He is recovering and doing much better. Dr. Irecil and his staff are very compationate and I would not go to anyone else. In this day and time it is hard to find a doctore that cares like Dr. Irecil does! I recommend him all the time to people.

Dr Ilercil done my husband's brain surgery in 2005, I truly believe in this man, he was up front and did not sugar coat the finding's. But very compassionate and very informative and now 16 years later when the problem came back, he is the only surgeon we trust or wanted and he was just as attentive as before. For those that are giving bad reviews, try putting yourself in this man's shoes for one day, May God keep this man and bless him for all the good he does. Sandra Travis Brookhaven Ms.
