Boyd Benefield is the worse doctor I have ever seen in my life. He does absolutely nothing for any problem you may have and is extremely disrespectful when you are intelligent enough to question his recommendations. I have a bleeding disorder and had been bleeding heavily for over a month and he did nothing but tell me pretty much to screw off. There are various other doctors along the coast that I highly recommend you find before seeing this lazy uncaring so called doctor. The office staff is terrible and so is he. If I could give 0 stars I would. *** just wanted to update this review to let everyone know they are liars as well. Because I questioned my healthcare they wanted to tell everyone I was threatening and non compliant. I am so glad I recorded my interaction with them to share with patient experience how deceitful they are. Please seek care elsewhere I’d hate for anyone else to deal with this.

He yelled a diagnosis that was incorrect, embarrassing, and clearly within earshot of other staff and patients.

Dr. Boyd Benefield is the best doctor for Me. He listens to me, explains things in detail and makes me feel like I am his most important patient. Absolutely love him and his staff.

Dr Benefield is the BEST. He has been my Doctor off and on for 35 years. He encourages me to participate in my care. I would have no other Primary Care Physician!

I went to Dr. Benefield 2 months ago to try and get the pain in my shoulder which has become severe diagnosed. He sent me out for blood work and Xrays that cost me almost $200 but I have yet to hear from him since then. I called and they said they would call me when he wants to see me again. I'll be requesting that my case be given to a different doctor tomorrow.

I love Dr. Benefield. We moved here from Florida about two years ago and one of my greatest concerns was finding a compassionate good doctor like we had. Dr. Benefield met those 100%. He always takes the time to answer any questions and is very friendly and kind. His diagnosis have been right on and I love the fact that he doesn’t push you onto medicine unless he is certain its needed.

I can not express enough gratitude that for NP Jillian Owens. She is such awesome special lady. She went out of her way to not only see my husband but give us advice and help with the family members we are taking care of. This lady is a angel from heaven and needs to be acknowledge of all her extra effort she gives to her patients. She has made us most welcome here!

The nursing staff are the ones that run the office not Dr Benefield. And they are rude. I miss my Doctor Benefield. I have tried to get back in to see him but they will not let me for some reason. Donna H. Rodgers

I have long been a patient of Dr. B. 1.5 years ago this would've been 5 stars easily. The 2 is because the quality of care has significantly diminished. He's extremely busy and just 1 guy and I get that. The big issue here are call backs, blood work results, etc. If the nurse is the call back, pray its nothing urgent. It's a crap shoot you even get a call back at all. The lack of attentiveness and peer to peer care has been reduced to a 2 min, breathe in, breathe out, open wide, goodbye visit.
