Christopher Hogan's Online Review Report Card

Doctor Hogan came to his office on a Sunday to see my husband. My husband had gone to ER. With acute glaucoma and very high eye pressure . Doctor Hogan was able to get pressure down and treatment saved his eye.

Dr Tomsik saw my elderly mother in July and he scheduled her for a specialist to see her today November 19th at noon. Well that specialist was Dr Hogan. A new doctor to both mother and I - one we've never met before. Dr Hogan's office called and left message on my voice mail yesterday. I didnt see it until after working all day which was after clinic hours by then. I immediately called them back and was happy to have their after hours answering service lady answer my call. Didn't know they had an answering service lady. I asked lady if I could still confirm mothers appointment even though the office was closed. The lady said yes. I gave lady mothers name and date of birth, then proceeded to confirm appointment time with her for today. I told her I would be there with mother at appointment time. Then she said the appointment was at Dr Hogan's office in Gulfport verses going to Dr Tomsik office in Moss Point. I told her thank you because I thought the appointment was in Moss Point. She continued on and gave me Gulfport address and explained where it is located. Well we arrived right at 1144am today and walked in some 5 minutes later into Dr Hogan's office in Gulfport. You can imagine what they said when I tried to check mother in with their receptionist. The receptionist said Mothers appointment is in Moss Point right now at Dr Tomisk location with Dr Hogan and if I hurried, we could still make it in Moss Point before Dr Hogan arrived. I thought are you kidding me? We are in Gulfport right now and they want me to turn around and drive to other side of Moss Point after we drove nearly an hour in traffic to get here from where we live. Dr Hogan's office takes no responsibility for giving me incorrect location for mothers appointment. We wasted time and money going to Gulfport for nothing today. We will find mother a new doctor.

Great visit today. I feel very confident that Dr Hogan is treating my dry eye problem with knowledge and expertise. He offers frequent visits as needed to reach our goal.

Dr Hogan is a miracle worker. I thought for years that I could see,but i couldn't. I was blind but now I see. I could only see the contour of a person,never their actual face. Now I see it all. Thank you Dr. Hogan. I love you and recommend you to everyone.

Rude nurse waiting 3 hrs never come back or recommended for anyone

Dr. Hogan is an excellent doctor. That being said, be prepared to spend between 2-3 hours waiting to see him and then however long your appointment takes. I can’t figure out if this occurs due to inept employees scheduling appointments or because they double (& triple) book appointment times. I suspect the latter. My advice: ask for the first appointment of the day (7:30). You’ll still have to wait but it won’t be as long.

Great Doctor, Great Staff, you may have to wait a bit after you sheduled apt. time, But its worth it. I can SEE why he is sought after.

Wait time is absolutely unnecessary and reflects bad management. Having had several appointments I have waited at least 2-3 hours to see the doctor for 5 minutes after seeing a technician for 5 minutes. Others in the very overcrowded waiting room were waiting just as long. This office apparently does not feel that the patients time is of any value at all. I don’t understand how Dr Hogan got the Promptness award. My brother saw a different doctor and had just as many appointments and never waited longer than 30 minutes and his doctor was much more personable. No one explains anything about what they are doing.

Dr Hogan treated my father and now he can see. If there's an angle on earth, it would be that man.

There are two different places in this one office. There's Hogan's Eye Clinic and then there's also the Hogan surgical Eye Care. It's very convenient to have both these services in the same office building. There is no website though.
