Arrogant and incompetent doctor, who refuses to adequately treat patients for UTI and refuses to return phone calls. By doing this he is irresponsible and earns an “F.”
Excellent Doctor and staff. His knowledge of strokes and dementia is second to none on the Coast.
Beware! Caution! This doctor puts in the incorrect insurance codes for consults AND charges a copay to double bill the patient! Called for 6 months to try to get the code changed because my insurance covers consults at 100%…but not with the wrong code. He SCAMS his patients.
Dr. Voulters is Amazing it’s the people in the office that are AWFUL!! They are rude every time I call and because they DONT do their job I have to wait MONTHS to get my injections even though it’s approved the next day. They never called to tell me this ( said they would) I checked with my insurance! So I could have kept my appointment and got my injections and now I’m in pain and will end up in the ER spending $$$$$$ on that bill because they don’t care!

If I could give this doctor 0 stars, I would. He misdiagnosed me with MS after he took over my case from Dr. Millette. Later 2 doctors said I never had MS and PROVED it. He cost me a $500,000 award that I would have gotten from being misdiagnosed by Dr. Millette. He needs to lose his license. He walks in with his fancy suit, doesn’t do an examination and just asks, how can I help you. Run from this doctor. He is a quack and shouldn’t be practicing medicine. After filing a formal complaint, I never received an apology from him or Memorial at Gulfport.
My mother had a followup appt. with Dr. Voulters and I was shocked at how he treated her. He was intimidating and gave her very short responses when she expressed her health issues. When she said she gets headaches, he told her to take an over the counter headache med. He basically told her to stop taking any medications that she felt were giving her side effects even though he was not the doctor that prescribed them to her. He said - “Let’s face it, you’re 86 yrs. old”. Such a rude statement! After my mom told me these things, I checked reviews on him and found that many people have experienced this same behavior from him. I have to wonder how he treats or treated his own mom. I hope better than he treated mine. He may be a skilled doctor, but I really hope he reads my review and starts practicing compassion to others. My mom will not be seeing him again.
This man always leaves early and I have to end up changing my appointment for a whole other month even though I need refills on my medicine. I’ll come to an appointment early and I still have to wait over an hour only for him to talk to me for 5 minutes and send me home.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
