This doc was very cold after arriving at the office over 30 minutes late for my appointment. He walks in complaining of his back problems and said he couldn't treat me so I walked out. He still billed my insurance company and didn't return my copay. What kind of establishment is Merit Health and/or does this doc have any integrity? Sad. Take this as a warning new people as you come to the area.

Was given an appointment time and then had to wait over 30 minutes for him to show up. When asked if he was running late, office staff said no he was coming in at the same time he always does. Why schedule an appointment for a time that he isn't even there. Also you spend more time talking to the nurses and interns than him. I never felt like he listened to me and was quick to write a script and send me on my way.

My husband saw Dr. Mikhail at the On Call Medical Clinic in Ocean Springs about 6 months ago. My husband had a bad staph infection and Dr. Mikhail took one look and had him in the procedure room draining this area and packing the wound. He then cultured the drainage and perscribed a lengthy course of antibiotics. I'm a licensed practical nurse with background in minor emergency medicine. It is now very rare to find a dr. in a clinic setting that would do this type of procedure. Most would treat only with antibiotics and wait for area to drain on its on or send you to the ER for care. This physician was quick,responsive and handled my chicken husband with care. We are both excited that he is now in private practice and I have scheduled an appt. to see him.
