He refused continuation of care because I have PTSD and can't wear a mask. He said that we have been doing telehealth too long, but refused to see me in person!

He got me all straightened out. My thyroids were all messed up. He listened to me and my husband, and gave me the appropriate medication that helped me feel like myself again. He’s a straight shooter and that’s what I want in a physician with his specialty.

I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Everyone there is polite, respectful, helpful people that work there. Dr Mark Borchelt will listen to you & do his best to answer your question. If you need an Endocrinologist he is the man you need to get an appointment with. He is a good doctor. Wow if you have no thyroid problem then leave him alone!!!!

Dr. Mark Borchelt is a nice caring doctor who spends time with you. I visited another thyroid doctor in Biloxi in the past and Dealt with rude office workers and bullies.

I have Hashimoto's. I had an attack and gained 16 lbs in 4 weeks. I called for an appointment and had to wait 8 weeks to be seen. By the time that I was seen, I had gained 20lbs. The flair up was ending. He drew TSH and T4. They were bairly normal and he did not want to change my treatment. He had NO concern to help we with the 20 lbs that the flair had caused. He put in my chart that I needed to exercise more. However we had a discussion in which I lol'd him I was exercising 3 times a week at 45 minutes each when the flair caused the weight gain. He did not care and refused to even discuss helping me loose it. I was on a diet and getting exercise when Hashimoto's cause me to gain weight faster than pregnancy. He said that it was my problem and he was not concerned. .
