List of Navin Barot's Reviews
Has always been polite, direct, and able to fix my husband's internal bleeding issues.
I don’t know what the negative reviews for this doctor are about but reading them had me afraid he would be rude and dismissive but let me tell y’all what, Dr. Barot came in with a huge smile on his face and completely took care of me. I am used to male doctors dismissing my concerns but he spent over a half hour talking with me and going over my symptoms and recent tests by another doctor that misdiagnosed me. He ordered more tests and reassured me that he will get to the bottom of what’s been going on with me for years. I couldn’t be happier with how my visit with Dr. Barot went and I look forward to him taking care of me as long as I need to see a gastroenterologist.
Dr.Barot has followed me for 2 years with chirrosis. He has addressed everything I needed and seen me promptly with any issues I've had. He is truly the best Dr I've ever had.
Experienced, seasoned gastroenterologist. Straight to the point! You don't have to worry if he's thinking what is wrong,he knows. Orders what needs to be done right away. Very cordial gentleman. Quiet type doc but to the point and loves to smile.
I like Dr. Barot.... but his staff are unprofessional and lack commonsense, consideration for their patients. I called in advance to find out location and where to park. Being that we are still in a covid scare... I figured they would correctly direct me to the location. Let me say at this point I disabled. They told me to park on the 3rd floor and they "were right there". I did as told... parked on the 3rd floor... doors are locked. Bc the staff didn't use their commonsense... they didn't explain to me which side the office was on or that I had to check in downstairs first... and then walk half of the freaking hospital to get to where I needed to be!!! Now in pain, frustrated and annoyed... I explain to the ladies in the front that they should really give better direction, especially if they aren't sure if the patients are disabled. I was late to my appointment... and then they were gonna turn me away??? Uh not. If they turn me away, I will find another doctor!!! Unacceptable!!!
My first appointment, I waited an hour just to see him for a minute and a half, where he ordered a colonoscopy without even examining me.$$$ Reported for procedure and he was 2 1/2 hours late for that. Won’t use him again!!!
I didn’t even want to give him 1 star but had to in order to do this review. He put a feeding tube in me and he punctured through to wrong place. I bled and my BP dropped and I almost died. He didn’t even come to check on me until the next day and said, I don’t know why you bled, it was a small puncture. I went to a different doctor that finally did a scope and found out he had not even placed it in right place. It was in the tissue and water and food was not going in stomach and I got infection and had 104 fevers. I really think Memorial needs to check him out. From what I have read from others, he is endangering lives and this has to stop. I expect more from Memorial. He squints a lot, maybe he can’t see, and he is very rude! I don’t like a rude Doctor. I expect Dr. Northington and CEO to make sure he is capable of doing procedures.
I'm stil in the hospital but felt compelled to tell everyone how pleased I am with Dr Barot! He is the first of at least 5 doctors at this hospital that made a call that I agreed with and made sense. All of these others are slice and dice, then shove you out the door like an assembly line. Not Dr Barot. He looked at my problem, realized I'm a human and not an automobile, and said that my insides need time to rest, time to heal. Thank you Dr. Navin Barot. I want to sincerely say thank you. ~K Justice
He had good bed side manners and was attentive to my needs as a patient.
Absolutely horrible. Would never recommend him to anyone. Needs to be done in the medical field.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
