Singing River Pediatrics Gulfport's Online Review Report Card

Picky about what ages of new patients they're taking.

I was so in love with this clinic.Dr. harper was my 2 youngest pediatrician since birth.great with my kids. All of sudden I received a letter in the mail saying my kids would no longer be able to be serviced there. Ok fine, but to say that its because i was disruptive to one of their members is a flat out lie .. i have never ever been nasty or disrespectful to anyone there but the front desk lady close to the door gives attitude all the time!! As many times as i waiting for way longer than my appointment time and had patience i still wasnt disruptive or disrespectful… have family in the medical field so I always show compassion towards them and the most I’ve done was question certain things which is not being disruptive! I have no problem looking for a different pediatrician but to be lied on is so distasteful because of someone’s ego!! Hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else.. Dr. harper we’ll miss you..

This is the worst pediatrician I have ever encountered. They refused to send paperwork to my son’s school after they were referring him for speech therapy even after we took off work and personally brought her the paperwork. The front desk is very rude and unprofessional every-time we go in and call as well. RUN far away. We are from texas medical center and they would never treat patients like this.

Dr Harper is great!! Front office staff is the reason I gave this score. I have only had six dealings with them and every time there has been an issue. They either act like you are crazy or are rude. I would recommend some customer service education (and I have been in customer service with difficult people for 20yrs)

Great place I take both my boys to Dr. Frank, she is hands on and amazing. She always gives me good advice and answers all my many questions. I wouldn't want them to see anyone else!

We absolutely love Dr. Frank & Dr. Harper & all the back office staff. Dr. Frank has been seeing my son since he was 6 weeks old. I used to be obsessed with the entire staff as well, always a positive experience & my son was seen often for different reason. I’m not sure if it’s because they’re now Singing River & not Garden Park or what, but their front office staff is the worst. Unprofessional, rude, and have no follow through. I understand being patient & allowing grace, but they do not do anything without you becoming a psychopath. It took me 10 weeks to get my sons medical records from them. I know that since they changed to Singing River, they didn’t have access to the medical records, which also doesn’t make any sense (because how do you know what’s up with your patient and their HX if you can’t see any of it??? But okay). I’ve called a few times since receiving to records to try to get different information and you would think I’m the most problematic person they’ve ever spoken too because I push for help for my child and making sure his needs are met. One lady at the the front desk was so rude every single time I called or came in to fill out an additional records release form, one was always really sweet. I understand things being out of one particular persons scope, but the attitude is unnecessary & unprofessional. We are not leaving the office by choice, we’re moving internationally, but if we were staying near Gulfport, after today, we’d be finding another office purely because of the front office staff & their audacity. It’s what I do for a living as well so I guess it just drives me extra crazy the way they treat people. It’s really upsetting because we truly do love Dr. Frank, Dr. Harper & the nurses. If you don’t mind being talked down to by some staff, then I truly do recommend this place because at the end of the day, the care yo is child receives is what’s important. But if you’re a family that frequently needs to call in / be seen, consider what I’ve shared. Especially if you’re a military family or a family that has to move around a lot and need records and answers in a some what time efficient manner.

We moved to Gulfport about a year ago and have been looking for a pediatrician. Immediately, my daughter was at ease and took to Dr. Harper. I appreciated the focus of the visit being a conversation between Dr. Harper and my daughter (6 years old). Very professional, emotionally safe, and efficient.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Harper! She is so knowledgeable, compassionate, patient and thorough! We have seen Dr. Frank as well and she is great! The nurses and entire office staff are superb! They are kind, great and very personable with the kids, organized and very timely in responding to calls, questions, or requested information. Best Pediatrician on the Coast hands down!

We enjoy seeing Dr. Frank. Though the wait time to be seen for my daughters vaccines were insane, which only led to my daughter being overly anxious, moreso than she already was. And I feel like i wasn't heard when I didn't want a certain vaccine. But was told she HAD to have it. Nobody dies of the chicken Pox.... Come on...
