Very unsatisfactory. She did surgery on my husband's lungs months ago and did not find it necessary to be present at his post op follow-up visit to explain her findings. Had a NP read off her notes in his chart and NP could not explain what had been done and what the tests ordered meant. Simply parroted the doc's notes. We have only seen Dr. Allen when we have demanded it. Otherwise, we see the NP. Today, we arrived for a scheduled appointment only to be told that the appointment had been cancelled and rescheduled for January 10, 2022. We were never notified. My husband is oxygen dependent but stable. We were offered to be seen today if we were willing to allow those patients with appointments to be seen first. We refused. We are in the process of finding another Pulmonologist. We pay for and expect excellent care...we deserve no less.

Dr Allen is the first Dr to finally properly investigate my sister's health problems. She is going above and beyond any other Dr. I am very grateful!!

Didn't take time to meet me, did a procedure without her explanation, made me wait 6 hours after scheduled procedure to start procedure. No pain medication prescribed, cancelled appointment for procedure results. Could be Cancer, nurse practitioner told me a month ago. No follow up. Overbooking of surgery's cause she only works in Gulfport MS 2 days a week. Has me more ill with more symptoms but will NOT speak with me. No thanks, I need a true physician.

She was amazing initially. Lately, she has left me on the back burner, having to wait weeks for correspondence regarding important medications. Her responses, when I receive them, have become terse either due to too many patients or a lack of caring. I feel as if she is someone I can no longer confide in. Such a disappointment.

Dr. Allen is wonderful! She is so sweet and knowledgeable! She answered all questions in terms I understand, and if you ask for parenting advice she gives her "doctor" point of view and her fellow parent point of view! I am very happy with her and feel comfortable with her as my physician
