Vincent J. Pisciotta's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Pisciotta spent his 5 minutes in the room to tell me how many times I stopped breathing during my sleep study and about his daughter's career goals in my field. I have called everyday to leave a message for the last two weeks and I still haven't gotten a call back regarding a rx for cpap supplies. I don't understand it. The office says the same thing daily. I will leave a message and someone will call you back, but it will be two solid weeks tomorrow and still no return call. Leaving a message with the answering service is useless: no one calls back.

Extremely knowledgeable, polite, never will I visit another Gulf Coast ENT practice besides to see Dr. Vincent J. Pisciotta MD. He expresses real concern regarding his patients issues and also alternative treatment options. Safety is paramount to his practice, and this is what I feel defines a good doctor. Any negative past reviews by others stating that his wait time before appointments is excessive, is not supported by any evidence at all based on my experience. People do not acknowledge that there are doctors such as Dr. Pisciotta who have polite bedside manner and whole-heartedly take the time out to talk to a patient about all issues. Not only this, he is a associated with another excellent practitioner Dr. Bratton who might share an office on appointment day. So maybe exam rooms might be a little full that day. Take into account also, these physicians have lives as well and are most likely in surgery in the morning before seeing other patients, there is not an excessive wait time with his practice. Also, his staff is extremely respectful and go out of their way to the great lengths to accommodate a patient.

His practice prioritizes patient safety during outpatient surgeries, he addresses the needs or concerns of patients, prioritizing safety first above all else. Most of all,l always listening to his patient’s concerns. Proudly engaging in conversation which in return humanizes himself from a medical professional in order to relate to a patient, which helps understand who he truly is and the outstanding morals as an individual he possesses. Dr. Vincent Pisciotta, I feel outweighs many other medical professionals in his field due to his innovativeness for alternatives in treatment options, alongside extreme professionalism in any outpatient surgery setting.

I have been fighting sleep apnea. Sinus infection and snoring for 40 years. Went to numerous doctors and never cured the problem. I saw dr. Piscotta and he said I can fix this. Well one week after the operation sinus infection gone, sleep apnea cured and snoring volume down to 1/8 of previous volume. If he says he can fix your problem, he will. I am very satisfied and would do it again. Thanks doc

His office staff is horrible. They did not tell me that my appointment had been canceled when I called for directions. When I asked when will my new appointment be scheduled she stated she had to check availability and hung up the phone. I called back and was placed on hold for 15 to 20 minutes and she someone answered the phone, they just hung up. While on hold I called from my other line on the SAME phone and they picked up for that one prior to picking up for the line that had been on hold for nearly 15 minutes at that point. Horrible customer service.

sent a form that says he does not accept my insurance but did at first visit. something is wacky with this practise

solved my issue years ago. surgery on sinus and throat. fixed sleep apnea problem and sinus infection issue. Good doctor. He is busy. does not sit around and coddle. Told me exactly what was needed and it was correct. 10 years and counting, no problems

Dr. Pisciotta did my sinus surgery. He did a great job and I am doing great. He called to check on me which was extremely nice. His office staff is very nice and professional. Thank you.

They got us in same day, and their NP was very caring and knowledgeable. The whole experience was great.

Got to the drs office at 1040 a.m. for my 1045 appt. Saw the dr at 1233 p.m., with my 3 year old who had tubes put in his ears. Needless to say an hour and 40 minute wait with a 3 year old is not a fun experience. When i mentioned it to the dr he proceeded to go on a rant even going so far as to belittle me and my child because of the magnolia health insurance which we have. He lashed out about how he only makes $16 per visit for those of us who are forced to use medicaid. I am a teacher. It sucks bad enough that i cant afford anything better , insurance wise but this was completely dehumanizing. He then proceeded to talk about how hard he worked to get his degree and he also had an intern following him around and made remarks to him about how ungrateful people are. Dr Piscotto, i am not ungrateful but my time is just as valuable as yours. If you have too many appointments maybe you shouldn't make so many. If medicaid doesn't pay enough then dont accept it but what i endured today was horrible. Thank god my son is only 3 and didn't understand what was being said about him and how inferior we are because of the insurance we have. I thought they did fine with the surgery part but its not like i really know, obviously i am not as good as him and dont even understand what he actually did. The receptionist is always short and abrupt but i was fine with that (i guess ive just gotten use to sub-par help) but what that dr said to me and my son will stick with me for a long time. If you choose to use this dr, then dont be mad when you're made to wait (for close to 2 hours) but whatever you do be the subservient sheep and dont stand up for yourself or you will be belittled and ridiculed for it.
