I saw Dr. Calin Pernes MD at Forest General E.R. on 9/26/18 . I was having severe pain in my neck due to a Cervical Disc pressing on my spinal cord and nerve roots in my neck. I was moved after I arrived by Ambulance from the F.G.H. "Nurse Practioner Area' into the E.R. Rooms that are near Doctors. Dr. Pernes and his nurses took great care of me and managed my pain. I was there for several hours for testing and Dr. Pernes was very proactive in taking care of my pain and problems. I highly recommend him for anyone in acute pain with spine issues! Thank You again Dr. Pernes and Staff! I am home awaiting surgery. God Bless Dr. Pernes!

I took my elderly aunt to the ER after a fall. It was a very busy chaotic time in the ER, but Dr Pernes was through, caring and gave her the attention she needed. The care was prompt and competent and we were impressed with his bedside manner. She had a exacerbation of a previous lumbar fracture and he organized an urgent MRI and discharged us reassured and feeling safe.

Dr. Pernes is very personable and understanding. Also, he gets to the point and breaks things down. I've been seeing him for over a year now. One thing that is for sure is he goes out of his way to work around my schedule which I greatly appreciate.
