Hattiesburg Community Dental Center's Online Review Report Card

My Mom has been going to this dentistry place on Airport rd in Hattiesburg for over 1 & 1/2 years . Her insurance has paid for her to get a partial put in, but yet it's still not done . Can't believe it's taking so long to complete . Does it usually take over a year and 1/2 to get a partial made ? She was chewing food ok , till the dentist pulled 3 of her teeth in 1 hour as if he wanted to get her partial done quickly. We both were excited that She was going through the process of getting things done no matter the pain she was experiencing because she can't chew any food . She is very old and having a hard time eating anything since they are not finishing her partial . Insurance has already paid for everything , but yet they act like they don't care about finishing her partial . Her health isn't exactly the best condition since she's getting so old. I want to spend some quality family time together with my mom taking her out to eat before she passes away . Since she doesn't have her partial made yet, She doesn't want to go out to eat anymore since she says it hurts to chew since there's no teeth . Wish she would have went to a different dentistry place that actually cared . Totally taking too long , can't believe I'm still having to keep calling to get her a next appt . Terrible service , I would give this place a negative review if I could . If anybody wants to get dentures or a partial put in , Do not go here ! At least if You want it done within a year and a half. Makes me so mad that they don't seem to care . 👎👎👎😟

Need tooth pulled but cnt because it’s infected….this place is Supposed to be affordable but was told I have a $200 bill that I have to pay before I get seen and this is the first time I’ve even heard about a bill somebody help me out with somewhere I can go to

I’m going to them 5 star rating. I absolutely love Dr Wilson and her receptionist. She’s so sweet and kind they’re both very patient with me. I love how Dr Wilson is very gentle and makes sure I’m comfortable I wish she could do anything I need done!😊 I got my teeth cleaned today anxiety was through the roof but it wasn’t so bad her and ms Lisa did a very good job! I can’t thank her enough for trying to get to this pain under control ! Everyone is always so nice I would most definitely recommend them!

Hey Hello, I just wanted to leave a REAL review. I'm giving an 4/5 stars only because of the wait time and I was born an impatient human lol but other then that everything was really great, from the receptionists being so sweet and professional and explaining what my insurance covered, to the dental assistant and Dr. Young some really sweet people and especially the hygienist that cleaned my teeth. That Lady literally cleaned my teeth so good made me smile with more confidence. She is so sweet and talked to me literally the entire time she cleaned my teeth. And gave me a facial lol as she said but 10/10 recommend... And also everything was clean, from the lobby to the bathroom.

Fantastic group of office staff, medical staff - the dentist was top notch. Very polite with southern hospitality. Thank you for the great service.

😩Some months ago (for the first time since 2-6 years or so) I had my teeth cleaned and the very next day and on I begin to have the worst painnn E V E R rrrrr🥹. It was so bad I called the (dentist) Dr. ( was/ is wonderful💯) to let him know and to ask if I was dying...because it so felt like I was. I was given an antibiotic prescription. It helped somewhat much, but I still was swollen and in light pain. I believe in had an absess!!!💯 It took some time to heal up and even now I can still feel the absess with slight pain and the tooth still hurts, but not like day one, 👍Thank God! The part that got to me 💔 was when I finally got back in to see the Dr. 🥹... the nurse (always extremely friendly and talkative 😇) that actually cleaned my teeth laughed out loud (with another worker was present) when I told her I was in a lot of pain the next day after my cleaning 😭😭😭🙏.🙏✝️ I just thought...💔😟WOW! And, other than that I haven't had any major ( I did have a hard time with scheduling to see the Dr.) problems with the clinic. I sure hope everything (dental tools) was sterilized properly because to this day, I couldn't understand why I had so much Pain and Discomfort so quickly 😢 and my body felt like ( weak/fatigue ) it was shutting down rapidly. But✝️🙏✝️GoD!

I am so thankful for this facility and staff at Hattiesburg Community Dental Center.. After seeing.some of the reviews I have to say I had some concerns. They were all unfounded. I was treated.so nicely from the lady who set up my appointment , to the lady who checked me in, and the person who assisted the dentist , the dentist, and even the lady that took my payment. They were all EXCEPTIONAL. Dr Wilson made time to extract a tooth that I was not scheduled for because it was beginning to cause a little problem and I was.supposed to go on a very long awaited vacation and knew that tooth was going to ruin it. She did not have to fit me in. It shows the kindness and compassion they treated me with thru out my whole visit. I am thrilled this dental center is within our communities. I am a senior on a fixed income and am so happy I can have my teeth worked on. For those complaining I think the problem is probably not the clinic but most likely wirh in themselves. BE GRATEFUL AND THANKFUL. I am

Said on website they do root canals and crowns but was told they dont .

Called this place to set up an appointment for my daughter to have two baby teeth pulled that just wouldn’t come out. Her adult teeth have fully come in behind them. They charged me 60 bucks to take an X-ray of her mouth that wasn’t even necessary if they were just going to tell me they couldn’t do the extractions, and then referred me to some trash pediatric dentist that never bothered to call me back and does not pick up their phone when you try to set appointments. When I called the clinic back, a woman said she would speak with the dentist to “get clarification on the issue”. Well, she did. She called back once to confirm who THEIR dentist referred my daughter to. They couldn’t look that information up even though the hygienist made a copy of the referral for their records? Just a disorganized mess. She said she’d call me back. I’ve heard from no one and my kid still has the teeth that need simple extractions. You truly get what you pay for. You think being affordable is important until you’re met with incompetence. How are you going to charge poor people $60 for basically nothing? The thing for them to do would have been to say “We don’t do pediatric dentistry, so you may want to call one and get in with them” rather than charge an already broke person money for absolutely nothing. And why couldn’t their dentist do a simple baby tooth extraction? Was he not qualified to do so? If not why does he even work there? At this point, I don’t want anyone at that clinic or the one they referred me to doing a darn thing in my kid’s mouth. I’ll take out a high interest loan and go to a reputable dentist before we go back to this sham of a place. All discounts ain’t good discounts folks.

I've been here several times. I am terrified of the Dentist. Dr Quinn, a GODLY woman, put all my fears at ease and was very professional as she taught others while working on me. All my visits have been amazing, from the receptionists to the Dentists. I'm sorry others haven't felt the same. Thank You all at MS Rual Dental for all you do! God Bless 🤍🙏😁
