After being extremely nervous and uneasy about getting a hip replacement, Dr Folse came in and was extremely thorough and made me feel very comfortable about the procedure and rehabilitation. If and when the other hip goes out, he'll be the one to do it if I have any say so!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Folse, his staff and Southern Bone & Joint. My knee replacement and recovery was amazing. Dr. Folse is simply the best.

Would give zero stars. Does not want you to ask questions. Asked him why he would not use a dual mobility hip prosthetic on me. He said southern bone only uses those for revision or people that have a fused spine. Told him my spine is fusing itself per another doctor at southern bone. His nurse said I was rude when trying to get a 2nd opinion from Dr. SIKES and Dr. SIKES nurse thinks i hung up on her but the power went out at my home so she canceled my appointment with Dr. SIKES. Not one time did Folse ask my side of what happened. Just said he was done. Bottom line this Dr wears his feelings on his shoulder and does not under any circumstances want to explain anything.

I have been truly blessed to have had Dr Folse for my surgeon. With Gods help he gave me my life back. Within 3 months of each other I had a knee and then a hip replacement. I am 5 months out from my knee replacement , 2 months from my hip replacement. I’m walking normal, not having to stop constantly from pain! I’m truly going and doing all of the things that I love and enjoy without pain. He is a very caring and personable doctor. I highly recommend him, he changed my life.
