The Claiborne at Hattiesburg Independent Living does not have an adequate amount of comments to generate the sentiment analysis.
My husband and I stopped by the Hattiesburg Claiborne to just take a look. We were shown around the premises, provided floor plans of available apartments and all of our questions regarding financials and lifestyle were answered. With that information, we went home and decided this was where we wanted to live as soon as possible. In the midst of the COVID19 outbreak, we sold our property, house, down sized our possessions and moved into a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, just the right size apartment. All I can say is living here is exceeding our expectations. Although we have been here a short time, we have met many wonderful people including residents and staff. The quality of the lovely building inside and out, our apartment and the public areas are excellent. If something is not excellent, once reported to the staff, it becomes excellent as soon a possible. We are really impressed that management hosts regular resident meetings to hear what the residents have to say and report the progress in the areas that were presented at the preceding meeting. They recognize that "One can't please everyone all of the time." However the staff, led by an outstanding manager, tries to meet the standard every time.Although, represented as an independent living facility, sickness and accidents can happen almost anywhere. When something occurs requiring medical intervention, the staff is right there to help with immediate needs and to ensure that the resident is treated and/or transported to the appropriate medical facility as quickly as possible. As for the day to day life, it is as busy or as quiet as an independent person would like. The included amenities are too many to list. Most important is the three delicious meals prepared in the kitchen by a qualified Chef and staff and served by equally qualified and caring serving staff. There is also a plush theater, fabulous swimming pool, challenging work out room, and well stocked library. In addition there are activities and celebrations nearly everyday sponsored by outside parties, the staff or residents with milestones to share. Other amenities include, light housekeeping, postal service, and trash pick up. The Activities Director is hands on in choosing and planning special activities such as trivia contests, manicures and exercise groups. Each apartment has a porch or balcony from which one can just watch the world go by.My husband and I often comment that this is where we need to be from now until.....
Claireborne is a safe place to live. My parents have an apartment there. The meals are provided. They have a nice variety. Sometimes service is slow. Other than that I would have given them 5 stars.
Very tardy on getting things fixed such as light bulbsappliances!! Takes 4-7 days after reporting on an average for responding .
