List of Alfredo Figueroa's Reviews
Very thorough. Good bedside manner.
I had the good fortune for Dr. Figueroa to be my attending cardiologist while I was at Baptist Hospital after being transferred from my local hospital by ambulance for Afib. He made me aware of what my condition was and brought comfort with his bedside manner. He answered all questions in ways I could understand. He visited me everyday. I felt that he truly had a caring heart and interest in my condition in a personal yet professional manner. I would recommend him highly.
Dr Figueroa is an excellent doctor. His staff is terrible. It is now 4 weeks since they have had short term disability paperwork. I have called 11 times. I have lost my FMLA. due to the deadline for medical records not being processed,
Dr. Figueroa has been my cardiologist since 2006. He is very caring and is always truly observant of your cardio status.
I went to this doctor in 2007 because of chest pains and fainting. He ran numerous tests on me and said if he found anything that he would give us a call. I was only 17 at the time. No call was received. 3 years later I had a seizure and went to my regular doctor who referred me to this physician. After checking me out she asked "What did your heart doctor ever say about your Mitral Valve Response a few years ago?" I was shocked. I told her I didn't know about that and she said he faxed her over my results after my diagnosis. After thinking it could have maybe been an accident I went back to him. Told him where my chest pains were and he said "I think your problem is coming from your back. You're too young to have heart problems".. I responded with "Well you diagnosed me with MVP 3 years ago!" And his response was "Well we had you down as a new patient. We must have lost your paperwork after we changed offices..." I will never return to this dr again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
