Very poor beside manners
Getting cancer is no one's dream. Finding out you have to have chemo when a doctor hands you a prescriptions and wants to book an appointment to get started is enough to make you throw up. I felt like I was punched in the gut. Did you know my husband, who's sitting next to me, just buried his mom from the same cancer? NOPE! You didn't know shit about me or him but you felt comfortable just telling me what I "have" to do. I felt like a paycheck for 4 months. I called maybe 5 times during those 4 months and EVERY time I was told someone would call me right back and I had to call back 6+ hours later to get an answer. Twice I waited until the next day to call. Mind you I only called when I thought I was dying. 5 days after chemo and I still felt like knives were trying to crawl out of my skin. But that's ok! I'll wait! I was told to ask if I needed scarves or wigs that they'd direct me to were I could get some. When I asked two months later I got told to "try the gift shop". I used to work for United Way and I knew the American Cancer Society would NOT be pleased with that response. I saw this doctor twice, TWICE!. Day one, when I was "TOLD" I had to have chemo and on my third treatment visit. At that time she said she wanted to do a follow up visit and see me in three weeks and that I should have one more treatment that day (Yes, I know I'm lucky with only 4 treatments) so I came. Never saw her. Saw someone I didn't know, not an oncologist, who called me a liar and said that Dr. Haygood ordered 3 more treatments. First of all, don't challenge me. I'm not an idiot and neither is my friend who was standing right there with me. During these 4 months I never once got a call asking how I was doing. They called in December, around Christmas, to set another appointment. At that point I told them to never call again. I was DONE! So now, almost 10 months later I get a call from a collection agency. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!? One! I wouldn't pay that office $20 to mow my lawn. Two, I didn't get $75 a visits' worth. So I pay the one bill of $73. Then I get a call two weeks later. SHE SENT THE SAME AGENCY ANOTHER BILL! FOR WHAT????????Nope! Nope! Nope! You get back what you put out. That's what you get. Expect to be treated like a paycheck. Don't expect any bedside manner. Don't expect for anyone to actually care how you're feeling. Don't expect compassion. Don't expect anything but a needle and a bill. If I was ever a burden or problem for them, they should have sent me on my way and told me to find someone else. When you have cancer you don't need negativity. You don't need to feel like a burden. You don't need someone who doesn't SHOW UP!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
