Dr. Almand and his staff was very professional from start to finish. The wait time was surprising short. The care and instructions was given with patience, they took time to make sure I understood what was going on and valued my opinion. Awesome job, great experience.

everyone I came in contact with was very nice from the check in girl to the docs and NPs PT girl and x-ray folks. Dr Almand was thorough and his NP gave me a shot that I didn’t even feel. I felt ver comfortable with them.

I don’t know the best words to describe Dr. Almand’s surgical and personal skills accurately. What I do know is that I am thankful every single day that my doctor referred me to him. From the first meeting, he made me feel comfortable, like we were old friends. Besides my primary doctor, he is the most approachable, warm physician I’ve ever met. I have learned since my surgery that many knee replacement specialists recommend total replacements when it isn’t necessary. Dr. Almand felt that I only needed a partial but was upfront that he wouldn’t know until he got in there and that I might wake up with a total. Being in my early 60s, I preferred a partial because keeping your original parts is recommended if they are in good shape. Another thing that impressed me was the surveys Dr. Almand emailed before and after surgery. His questions related to pain and physical health, but they addressed emotional feelings too. That is critical, particularly for people who suffer from depression and/or anxiety, because of the surgery itself and the medication described after any type of knee replacement. My first post-op visit scheduled was actually with Dr. Almand himself. I have friends, even my spouse, who used other knee replacement surgeons. They never saw their surgeon after the surgery, only the nurse practitioner. Dr. Almand’s NP, Karla Fulton, is the bomb too, but I really appreciated that my first follow-up was with him. If you need knee replacement surgery, you probably can’t run, but walk as fast as you can to Dr. Jeff Almand at MS Sports Medicine. He’s exceptionally skilled, he’s extraordinarily kind, and extremely approachable. You can’t get much better than that.

The type of doctor everyone wants!! Dr. Almand was concerned, listened and advised alternatives to immediate surgery. He suggested physical therapy and then evaluation afterwards. He was explaining the x-rays in language a patient understands and I appreciate his care and suggestions. HIS attention to my concerns made me even more comfortable that he would be the surgeon I would choose if surgery is suggested later.

Just Released on R knee replacement and scheduled to do my left knee In December! I found staff to be friendly and through, accomadating! I am pleased with Dr. Almand he is informative and professional.

Great doctor and staff. Have had both knees replaced by Dr. Almand. Highly recommend him!!!

Everything was explained to me thoroughly He took time with me & is so friendly & professional! I feel I can trust him & have confidence that he will be able to do my total hip replacement & get me to be able to walk, move & stand without this excruciating pain! He also put me on medication to help me deal with pain until I can get my surgery. He found the root of my problem & will repair it instead of putting a band aide on & giving me useless injections, medications & frequent office visits. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Almand!!!
