List of Nathan Maples's Reviews
Does not take patient care seriously. Unprofessional and uninterested in his work which comes across in his behavior. Seemed very “out to lunch”. I would never allow this man near me in an operating room.
Had surgery to remove hemorrhoids. Not only did all of the hemorrhoids not get removed, but he cut my sphincter to supposedly correct an issue that was already healed. In addition, I’ve gone back to him several times and he won’t help get it all fixed. Meanwhile, I continue to have problems that should’ve been corrected if the surgery had been performed correctly. I’m VERY disappointed and I would not recommend anyone go to him for this problem.
Dr. Maples listen to my concerns and was very knowledgeable of my condition. My surgery went great! Great bedside manners!
Dr. Maples is personable and reassuring. He performed my emergency surgery with no complications. He was patient to answer all of my questions about healing, cause, recovery, etc...
Experience with Dr Maples, but cannot get nurse to return calls for post-surgery incision problems.
Dr Maples took wonderful care of me. I’m extremely pleased with his knowledge and his treatment.
Dr. Maples was very dismissive and gave me a ridiculous reason for my pain once he realized that I was not a candidate for gall bladder surgery.
Dr. Maples is an excellent doctor, He is very caring and personable. He takes very good care of his patients. We highly recommend Dr. Maples and his staff!!
I'm a 40+ woman. GI doc recommended Dr. MAPLES remove my gallbladder; do liver biopsy as it was found to be diseased. I was hospitalized for unbearable pain prior to the surgery. Dr. Maples told me he felt ALL my problems were emotional. (I don't exaggerate.). Maples finally removed the gallbladder (after begging by me/my family). Did NO biopsy. GB was diseased (no surprise!). Then discovered he had written I am an OPIATE addict in file. Yet to remove despite his saying he would! AMZG
Dr. Maples was a great!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
