Dr. Pickering always treats me well. He makes me feel at ease and patiently answers my questions. He is personable, compassionate and yet very professional and efficient. He is very upfront about what needs to be done. Several years ago he did a full knee replacement for me and in the process also straighten my leg. It has been life changing. He is a great doctor and person.

From the moment I arrived until I left I was treated very well. All of the staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. When I got to my room I only waited maybe 5 minutes before Dr Pickering came in and he was so friendly and so upbeat and made me feel very comfortable. He didn't try to sugarcoat anything and was upfront about what I needed done. He explained everything in a way that I could understand. My husband was very pleased with him also. I would definitely recommend and will recommend Dr Pickering if you are experiencing knee problems. I have yet to have surgery, but when I do I'll be leaving another review and I'm sure it will be very positive. Thank you Dr Pickering!!!

I was very comfortable talking with Dr Pickering, he made me feel at ease and answered concerns even before I asked them! I will be having a total knee replacement and I have total confidence in Dr Pickering as well as his staff in performing my surgery and care after the procedure.

Had one knee replacement with Dr. Pickering a year ago. Both knees bad from arthritis so made appointment with his PA for another cortisone shot in bad knee and told her (and lady I made appointment with on phone) I was ready to have the other knee done but assuming there would be long wait, scheduled shot appointment with PA (who is great by the way). Talking further with PA, she checked surgery schedule to see if a date fit into my schedule (several times were available). She advised since the date I chose, about 6 weeks out, I should not have shot within 3 months of surgery. Dr. Pickering reviewed x-rays taken (bone on bone) and explained I was still good candidate and why. Also advised most patients who had 2nd surgery found them must less stressful, recovery quicker and somewhat easier as we know what to expect, etc. He and PA both answered my questions, did not feel particularly rushed, etc. Another good experience with Dr. P. and staff.

After numerous trips to relieve hip pain, my husband was sent to physical therapy for the fourth time, after the first three did not work. The staff was very friendly but he has not been helped with the actual problem. Passing him off to someone else knowing that physical therapy was not going to help. Very disappointed and wasted time!!!
