I don’t understand the negative reviews because Dr. Black was phenomenal with my mom today. After weeks of knee pain, Doc figured it right out and has her on the right track. He is also very humble and very thorough!!! Thank you so much!

Dr. Black told my mother that her arm was "eat up with cancer" and there was nothing he could do for her. Had her scared to death to move her arm. Turns out it was 2 torn ligaments in her shoulder, a torn ligament in the bicep, and a bulging disc in her neck.Do not see this doctor. He doesn't care about his patients.

2 years ago my husband broke his arm at work. He pretty much wanted us to tell him what to do. I said you are the dr, it’s ur job to determine the plan of care. He throws a cast on it and calls it a day. Fast forward till now. He has to go back to see him tomorrow because the bone didn’t grow back right. (Which I could tell in the 1st X-ray he took). So my husband has been hurting for 2 years cause of his negligence. My husband HAS to see him since it’s worker’s compensation. But in all honesty, I would take my dog to see him. He BEST come up with a game plan tomorrow or it will be hell to pay. 😡😡

I saw Dr Black for knee pain as a result of a "popping" sound and feeling in my knee when I was walking. When giving me options of how to proceed, I asked "what do you recommend" as that is the reason I went to see the doctor, to get his medical opinion, and he states " I don't play that game". "I give options, you tell me what you want, I don't decide for you." I'm paying him to give me his opinion and he won't. He then proceeds to tell me that my xrays are normal but in another view, the knee cap is tilted to one side .... that's not my description of "normal". The only exam he did was to hold his hand slightly on my knee and have me bend and straighten it, he never palpated it or anything, although he charted that he did. When I was getting ready to leave, he said we would get an MRI but it wasn't going to show any problems "knock on wood" - and he knocked on his head....... Not really the comments you want from someone who is supposed to be helping you....

Very personal and down to earth. Easy to talk to and gives it to you straight. Won't try to have you take test or procedures that you don't need.

Dr. Black's office has a wonderful atmosphere and I received such great care while seeing him for my knee pain. I would recommend him to anyone.
