Dr Kumar was very passionate and took very good care of my mother. He was never rushed and had very good bedside manner. Me and my family are very great full to him.
Reviewed On Vitals
Dr. Kumar is a hospitalist at South Central Medical Center. He is impatient and unfriendly and does not seem to have empathy for his patients. Hospitalists at this hospital carry a big load but Dr. Kumar seems to disappear for hours and not return calls to the nurses station. If you are in pain, or need immediate care from your admitting physician, and you get him, expect to be in distress for some time. The nurses just say "sorry, he has not called back." No other hospitalist at SCRMC is like this. Many Laurelites are just going to Hattiesburg to get reliable, high quality care.
